Information is finally leaking on the upcoming COD 7 title produced by Treyarch. From wikipedia (as of 4/9/2010) Call of Duty: Black Ops The seventh main installment of the series was leaked as being in production when David Kim, a senior animator at Treyarch, stated on a website "I am currently on my second title as a senior animator in the games industry with Activision / Treyarch on Call of Duty 7."[16] The game is rumored to be set during the Vietnam War[17] with missions including the 1980's sieging of the Iranian Embassy[18]. Activision later confirmed that developer Treyarch was working on the next Call of Duty installment, set for release in Autumn of 2010.[19] Numerous "undisclosed sources at Activision" have spoken of the game as being called 'Call of Duty: Black Ops'.[20] Information leaked being discussed on a YouTube video (this is where I first heard of Black Ops) Following video posted on 4/8/2010 Some highlights include: (their info is based upon information found on WAW forums) - Will be called "Call of Duty: Black Ops" - Story starts at WWII and works up to late 80s - Custom Killstreaks for each Create-a-class - A mission based upon Iranian Embassy assault by the SAS - Treyarch has said they are not "fans" of the "Commando" perk - Knife will no longer be melee weapon, rather it will be your secondary weapon. - Developer is not a "fan" of game-ending killstreak rewards - IE: no nukes. - Killstreaks will not build to other killstreaks. So killstreaks must be earned by gun kills. - Killstreaks will not "stack". This man is a false dragon! err... at least his penis is. Does it have the dragons tattooed on it? I DON'T THINK SO! I've been stuck on Winter's Heart for awhile (it's tough to finish the series in one sitting especially with school/life/etc)... have you guys read book 12 - The Gathering Storm? The author who is finishing the series for Robert Jordan lives about 25 miles south of where I am at - SLC, UT.

I recently came across a player who is interested in playing in my clan. However, last night, I go to my kill leader boards and see that he has more kills than a friend of mine who has quite a few. I never recalled him being on to of my list. To top it off, he is 10th prestige. I don't remember him being a 10th either. So last night I ask him about it. Next thing I know he is offline for about 5 minutes. Then he comes back on. I go to show my brother his stats on the leader boards and now he does not exist on my leader boards. I check this morning to see if maybe there was some sort of error last night but he still is absent. I asked him why he wasn't on the leader boards anymore and he told me that it happens sometimes. Now, I've played COD for a long time now... NEVER have I seen a player NOT show up on the leader boards. My question for you guys is, do you know why this would be happening? Is this the result of a person tinkering with his stats? Either way, I think I may just tell him to hit the road. He apparently does not live up to expectations of my clan nor the expectations here.

I forget about sizes and proportions sometimes... my huge laptop screen makes even the biggest images seem small and insignificant.... Would you just scale it or would you change the proportions?

I am hoping to create a sig template for each of the members in my clan who wish to be active on the UF forums here. As you can see in my sig, this was something I threw together in a few minutes... er hours (I'm not that efficient is PS). What I am hoping to do is change the image on the right side of the sig for each of the members. The left image is sort of our "mascot" if you will. I am looking for any suggestions to my current sig that would make it look even better! Thanks guys!

I hear 360s have that "grey area" on their sticks where it doesn't move your player? I have never gotten to verify this personally, just what I read somewhere. I like the PS3 controllers because you don't really have to "hold" them. They are so light you can just cradle them in your hands. The controls are tight on PS3 and 10 sensitivity isn't overbearing. I hear 360s are similar to PS3/10 at around 4.

I couldn't justify spending $250+ on my first headset, so I settled with the 720s. I also saw a youtube video where the guy played a song at full loudness and the Tritton's sounded better, deeper than Astros even over his boom mic that came with his professional grade camera. The only issue I have had with the 720s (which use over the ear) is that when I wear my prescription glasses, after several hours of the arms on my glasses being pressed into my head, it hurts. I would imagine this on ear design would be no better. Good review, btw! Very informative.

It takes me forever to find stuff on there now. I don't even know what channel I'm watching without the profile image in the box that contained info about the video. I'm surprised they haven't reverted back yet.

So what is everyone's playoff predictions for the upcoming playoffs? To me, in the Western Conference, who advances past the first round will come down to seeding. With the standings beings so close, every game is invaluable for each team. Lakers are likely to beat anyone. The only teams I see giving them a good challenge is the Spurs and Thunder if either of those teams land 8th seed. 2-7 will come down to matchups. Watch out for Phoenix. As long as they don't meet the Spurs. I hope my team, Jazz, get a good matchup... but it is to tight right now to say who they will play. I heard on sports talk radio today that analysts are projecting seed 2-5 will come down to the last game of the season. In the East, I really don't see anybody beating the Cavs. The only team that could challenge them in Magic.

One thing I do know about linux is that Ubuntu is good for linux newbs!
