Me and the wife just ordered a Vizio 37" 1080p LCD. Does anyone have any input on this? I hope we made a good decission. I originally was looking at a 42", but my game room isn't really very large and I felt a 37" is more suitable. I decided on getting it at Sears. I looked at the prices at Wal mart, Best Buy, Target, and Meijer and found the best price was at Sears at $699

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Then he created light and dark to seperate the day from night. Then he created food and water. Then came the creation of man. Man needed entertainment, so God created electricity and TV. This still wasnt enough, so God created the Playstation and a game called SOCOM. Seeing how man accepted this entertainment and found it to be very habitual, God decided to allow the people to create groups of members called clans. God then created his own clan and called it [aKr]. At the end of his day off (Sunday), after playing many games of SOCOM, God saw he still has a lot of work to be done, so he decided to hand his leadership over to [aKr] REVEREND. Since then, REVEREND has built [aKr] into a very respectful clan but they had no place to call home, so REVEREND prayed to God and asked him for a tournament site he could take his clan to so they could be among other honorable clans and participate in weekly tournaments. God told him to go to http://www.urgentfury.com and register his clan in the UF Black tourney. REVEREND did so and since that day, he and [aKr] have been welcomed into a great communtiy of clans and now have a place to call home. lets all give thanks to the big guy for giving us SOCOM and Urgent Fury. Without them, we would still be naked in the Garden of Eden and argueing with our wives over the forbidden fruit.

Not sure if this is related to the PS3 wave of death, but if it is, just google "wave of death" and it will show u the steps to take to restore your PS3. I had a clan member who experienced the wave a month ago. When u turn the PS3 on, it wont put your game menu up, it just has the wave running across the screen and u cant do anything else. Hope this may help

Heres one for your little iPhone/iPod....the storm comes with 8gigs of memory with an optimal 16 gig available memory. Also, an uprade will soon be available making the Storm capeable of Rhapsody. For only $15 a month, u get unlimited music downloads to your phone. I have it and have maxed out the 8 gig memory on my Dare.....over 9400 songs to choose from in my library and a list choice of over 5 mil on Rhapsody. To pay for all that music on iTunes you would spend $9400.....dont think i have the spare change to afford that. I have noticed one flaw so far on the Storm though. It tends to be a little slow with the applications. This will soon be fixed with a software upgrade. While you are at it, can you please show me how to remove your battery and put a new one in?.....Nope, gotta send it in or if you are lucky and have an Apple store, they can change the soldered in battery out for you for a whopping $78. Just a little hint, Apple actually approached Verizon with the original idea of selling the iPhone and they were turned down because Verizon doesn't want to have to send the customers to another company to service a phone they sell. Dont get me wrong guys, everyone is intitled to their own opinion and no one wants to be told their device is inferior. I also understand some people are very loyal to their cellular carrier. My thoughts are this....if it works well for you.....great....stick with them. There are literally millions of customers who settle for less than perfect service because thats all they have to choose from for service. Just be glad you have the options of who you choose, I will make a prediction though.....eventually it will just come down to two carriers.....Verizon and AT&T. All others will either fade out or be swallowed up by the monsters. For example, Sprint has consistantly dropped over a million customers every quarter since the last quarter of last year. They laid off 4000 employees and closed over 125 locations. Their stock has plummeted to just over $3 a share. All the while, AT&T and Verizon bosted over 2 million new subscribers in just one quarter. The Verizon purchase of Alltel will be complete by the end of the first quarter next year making Verizon the LARGEST US carrier. They have effectively taken the best to biggest.

I work for Verizon and truly beleive this phone will set all standards for those to follow. Although the iPhone is a cool phone, Blackberry really did their homework on this one guys. They basically took every cool aspect from the iPhone and doubled it plus added more features the iPhone lacks. I am so looking forward to the upcoming paychecks from this one. This phone will be the true iPhone killer. Apple better really come out with something quick....theres a Storm brewin!

I choose to use Crackberry.com. They are free and plenty of them. U send them to your e-mail and save as ringtone. I have over 750 in mine and send them to friends.

My Gamestop will get it on Tues and release it @12pm....unfortunately, I dont get off work till 8....AARRRGGGGH!!!!

The question I have is "at what cost?". Where $7000 would be nice, and $5000 towards ins., How would that effect our already struggling economy? They issued an economic stimulus plan this year and still look at our economic situation. I have grown up in a Republican family, but I feel McCain is talking just like a Republican....using dollar figures to sway the American middle class votes. I will not be hazed over by the almighty dollar when it means it only will jeopardise my already struggling nations economy.

I beleive Slant 6 is unable to fix anything without creating a whole new problem. Do they even try out these patches to see what they do? I understand it's only the beta, but, they only have 8 days until launch. How many mistakes must they make until they finally get it right. If the game releases and these issues still exist, they may find a dramatic decline in gamers. People will seek other online games from creators who know how to create and support a game online.

I was very young and remember going to my moms friends house and playing pong. Then i used to go to my friends house every day before school and play on his atari 2600. My first system i ever had was a texas instruments console with a knock off of space invaders......mom wanted me to have a system that i could learn on, not just a gameplay system like to atari (what i asked for christmas). I eventually broke the shit out of it.

I used to get my tunes from limewire, but, since i'm with verizon, I now use Rhapsody. For $7.50 a month, I can download unlimited music from over 5 mil titles

I can understand the hit detection issue. A lot of times when i shoot at someone, the shots only count when i aim behind them. If i aim directly at them, i miss.....maybe i'm just old and my sight is going bad though

Another way to get free 411 is to use google. To do this just send a text to 46645(googl) and type the name, city and state and send. It will send a text back to u with the info needed. This works for sure, i use it almost daily

AMEN bro....AMEN. I have played in CT and a select few others and have yet to find any tournament out there in which the creators go to such great lengths to make it the best and show recognition......not to mention the true class shown by the other clans win or lose to make a statement of true sportsmanship. I speak for my entire clan when i say "thanks to everyone who make it happen". We are thankful to have somewhere to call home and most of all, proud to say that "we" are part of Urgent Fury!
