Story by Alexander Sliwinski @ Joystiq.com. The launch date for PS3′s Splinter Cell Trilogy appears to have shifted once again, this time to September. Ubisoft told us in May that it didn’t have a ship date for the title, but several major retailers listed an August launch at the time. The bundle had previously missed its appointed March and June launch dates. The latest release date of September 27 is now listed by the retail trinity of Amazon, GameStop and GameFly (which conveys only publisher-provided intel). Fresh news out of Comic-Con for zombie hunters and presidential-daughter-babysitting-simulator enthusiasts alike: the previously announced HD remakes of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X will be shambling and moaning onto US shores this September. RE4HD lands on September 20, with Code Veronica X HD‘s charmingly incomprehensible plot following a week later on September 27. That’s a few weeks after the far superior Japanese launch, not that we’re bitter or anything. To me, it seems the blog's need to stay focused solely on platform related news instead of PC news being sprinkled in. UF doesn't do tourney's for PC's, and for someone who actually bother's to read the blogs, the PC news is misleading (title needs to say PC ONLY?) and most the time useless.
