Once again we have had to tell a clan they are not welcome here... Now many have wondered what lead up to this and why has this punishment been so harsh. Well let's take a look at the history of this clan that is infamous for lying and cheating at Urgent Fury. Back up 2 years ago as we were well underway in a Modern Warfare 2 tournament when it is brought to light that many members of this clan are reported as using glitches to increase their custom loadout count giving them an small but unfair advantage against other clans in the tournament. After denying this several times, proof is provided of not only how they are doing it but gloating about how they got away with it in UF. Initially they were removed from the tournament and given a stiff suspension. Later down the road after much discussion, we allowed the clan to return but with a suspension of the leader. All seemed to be running smooth when we discovered the leader was playing under another name as well as acting as the clan rep under another name as well. At this point we told the leader enough is enough, you obviously do not respect the community enough to follow rules and your clan's time at Urgent Fury is done. Now the rest of the story... since our last Black Ops tournament, we received several PMs from the "New" leader of this clan and that the former leader had been removed from the clan asking for acceptance back in to UF. Funny thing is, this clan was competing at another site where not only was the player still on the roster and the clan rep, he also was listed as the leader of the clan. And then recently, knowing that our new Tournament Admin may not catch on, he created yet another account on the forums and weaseled his way into UF Unrest... of course that did not last long as the directors quickly squashed that attempt. On top of that as many of the community members pointed out, they tried to fill out the New Clan Submission with false information. Acts like this will not be tolerated by any clans, if you don't have Honor or Dignity, then you will find yourself without a place to play. And if you are a member of one of these types of clans, we highly encourage you to find a new clan.

I would like to take this opportunity to personally and on behalf of The Uprising thank Shane for his tremendous efforts in restoring our site. In the past two days our site was hacked three times. Why I have no idea, but somehow it was a personal attack from someone. With Urgent Fury Hosting as our company of choice I texted and called Shane for some support. He went above and beyond what any other hosting company out there would have done and for that I thank him. Sure there may be some cheaper options out there, but in no way could the level of support and customer service be matched. UF Hosting definitely will get our continued business in the future as our hosting company of choice and I would highly recommend it to all clans. Thanks again Shane!

Curious if anybody here picked it up? It was released at a bad time with BF3 and MW3, but this one is really solid. The multiplayer is great, and Naughty Dog is rather good at support and fixing problems. Its not exactly Socom but its a great 3rd person game, very action packed and could make for some great competitive matches. Ninja played a lot on Uc2 and competed a bit, I really think this game has great competitive potential. Still waiting for BF3 to allow private matches, but in the meantime Uc3 is good on the side. Comes with clan tags and private matches, all we really need right? Any UF teams out there interested in doing something, drop us a line we would love to play with you!

Our staff have come up with a great contest for all of the clans here at Urgent Fury. As many of you have seen there are some amazing artwork tied to each clan and what better way to showcase your clan that as an image tied to the month of a calendar. First the template: The template is very simple www.urgentfury.com/downloads/calendar.psd Do not make any changes to the settings and save it as clanname.png with the default settings and send it to media @ urgentfury.com or provide a download link. Next the rules: Your image cannot contain any copy written text, other tournament site logos or trademarked images with the exception of Urgent Fury Images which can be downloaded here: www.urgentfury.com/downloads/URGENTFURYFANKIT2011.zip Any submissions that include any violation of this will be notified to resolve, you will receive two additional submissions to correct any issues. Now the contest: Once we have closed the submission window, we will post all of the submissions along with a poll. The top 12 submissions will be allowed to choose their month in the calendar Starting with the highest vote and working to the least... so if you want to get top choice you will need to get the most votes for your clan's design. Hello Urgent Fury Revolution, Let me start out by introducing myself, you all can call me Drew. I am an older and laid back gamer and have been in a few larger clans as well as a few up and coming clans. I am trying to start a new concept for the gaming communities and clan founders, to help them with the everyday running of there clans. I'm like that walmart setup crew that comes in and sets up a new store and trains the members untill they are ready and then move on to the next job. I have lots of experience in recruiting,screening and validating new members after they register, HTI instructor training and moving them to the proper squads for there assignment. I'm more or less a clerical work horse. I have researched this over the years and found that clans have there greatest difficulties in these areas. I didnt know where to post this... I am new here to these forums...I currently dont have a PS3 or Xbox,but plan on getting one soon, and play MW3 and BF3 when they drop. Okay so with Socom 4 not living up to most the members of IX's expectations we have begun to get more involved in Battlefield. I'm frustrated.... I like the game a lot as far as game play. The shooting, the weapons, grenade throwing, all cool with me. I even like most of the maps. All are challenging in there own way. The modes most of them I like. But I suck at the bomb squad one. Graphics- are really good. I bought BFBC2 a few weeks ago and thought something was wrong with my TV. Socom was all clear and colorful with lots of detail. Respawn side- This is where it start to piss me off. It's not a good respawn game compared to the other real respawn games out there. COD, BFBC. The goal in the respawn is spawn camp. There's players or kids that's all they can do. So I only can handle so much then I'm out so I try Classic. Classic- Is fun but the main problem with classic to me is having to play with randoms. Sometime I get into games with cool people. But most of the time it's people who had just come off of playing respawn so they try and play it like respawn. Every mode. Even the bomb squad one the guy in the suit he'll just Rambo it. Most do that.... Then other times I'll get into a game people are teamkilling or if you have a shitty round or your the last one. The Assholes start voting you. I remember that from the other Socoms. That's why I got into clans. Now the clan stuff... The clan war stuff work great... For at least getting all our guys to get together to play. But when you only have a few on the stupid Party System.... I think what it does is when your in a Party and go looking for a game to play it wants to put you up against other parties. Not random people. Because when I play alone I have no problem finding games. Only in the party system. The problems are frustrating and make me not want to play.... ------- Then whats going to happen in a few months. We have 2 maybe 3 games coming out that seem like there going to put the choke hold on the players. The biggest problems I have above seem to be solved with at least 2 of the games. Except the respawn crap. ----- Anyways I'm hot so I might be a little grouchy.
