Did anyone else get hit really bad by the storm that just went through the north east? I live on the canadian border in Northern NY and we got hit pretty hard. Tress dropped on power lines...through houses. Our local Firestation is fried....the house accross the road from it got hit by lightnigh and it back fed to the fire dpt. When they tried opening the doors they got electricuted. I jumped in my wrangler and went on a mission to clear the roads. The state highways had trees blocking the roads and lines down all over. Transformers on fire in the road. All in all though it was pretty wierd I would say. Just wondering if it hit anyone else either. I only lost power for 5 hours....most are still without it. Cable and shit came back 18 hours later.

You gotta be kidding me... I dont live in ct, but Im on the road as part of my job, and I'm in ct often... thankfully i dont pay for gas in my work veh. , but this shit is just wrong For the record, i did not pump gas at this station, i was in such shock that i felt compelled to take a picture..

worldwidetelescope.org Check it out, it's not real time, but it's a live display of the most recent images of the entire sky as far as we've seen with our most advanced telescopes. It requires Flash Player for those who don't have it you'll have to DL it, but the application is freaking amazing and well worth DLing as well.

I was thinking what would be nice is to be able to view the matches as spectator or if you could somehow get the matches up on a website and we could watch them live as they happen. I know we can record but I am talking live. I think would be a lot of fun....

im still in my last yr of highskewl (live in canada) ..but yeah i dont really no what i want 2 do, i was thinkin fireman but im 2 dumb 2 get into that and my marks arnt good enough...then i was thinkin computers..im always on 1 and i enjoy being on them i just not be the best at it compared 2 some of most of u...anyways if i were 2 get into computers whats a good route 2 take ..EX. We all know what sony has gone through with the PS3. Their good games were supposed to start coming out and start to pick up the pace of the PS3 and put it back in the race. If I'm not mistaken, Lair was supposed to be one of those big games for them with the dragon slaying and such. Well, let's just say it didn't really live up to the hype: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/817/817117p1.html I don't own a PS3 or anything and I'm not bashing on it, I'm just saying.. ouch.
