I am trying to find that if I sign in to PSN using my brother and laws PS3 and my username and account will I still be able to play COD at the level I am at with my home PS3.

So I had to replace my PS3 due to the YLOD, and I was setting up my bookmarks again, and I got all of em done except for UF. It won't allow me to log in. Everytime I click the Username box, it simply refreshes the page. I had noticed this problem on my OLD ps3 when I went to post, but now I cant even log in. Anyone share in my dilemma? Any ideas how to fix it?

What does everyone think with or without xbox? Is xbox really worth paying for? Could PS3 better if they offered a charge and made changes with that money?

I just did an internet connection test on my PS3 and noticed there was a download and upload speed. I never noticed that before, but whatever. Here are my speeds: DL 726.4 kbps UL 292.9 kbps Are these any good?

I have a Nyko intercooler on the PS3 and the damn thing is noisy as hell. > Does anyone know what I can use to lubricate it without messing up the PS. I have looked throughout the web and can't seem to find a solution. I even checked Nyko's site under product support and there was nothing on this issue. Thanks.

Share the DLC or anything else downloaded onto your PS3 to another PS3 system? I saw a thread at Socom.com saying that this is possible but they didn't mention how.

Has anyone here installed LINUX on your PS3? I was thinking about doing it, wanted to see if anyone else here did it and if it caused any hiccups. i have 2 of these and a new 80 gig ... i wanted to get the new slim ... fyi the 60 gigs are selling for 350 because of the backward capabilities... i didnt know this .... so i guess im getting 2 slims and 100 bucks in my pocket ...

Also, why is it soooo cool that PS3 owners are demanding it. IMO, I can't see why I would want to chat with someone playing another game. Unless its easier to invite them to your game as opposed to IM'ing them.

This is an optional update that improves system stability during use of some PlayStation 3 format software. It's not mandatory, but it pretty much just fixes the problems with 3.0.

So who is gettin down on COD5? I just got a whole new setup, and Im ready to play. I'll pick up a copy of Socom in the next day or two..! Also, I'll be going by the PSN AT3Navy from now on, it won't let me access the old name from my old PS3 anymore.

it's not YLOD, it simply freezes after a minute and then it turns off and starts blinking red so if i send it to sony and they send me a refurbished one or fix mine.. do i get warranty? for how long? do they erase my HDD?

It f*cks all my stuff up. It changes the screen size like it enters some kind of special program for Youtube. But the mode stays with you when you go to other websites. It finally switched back but I was worried there for a second. Is that only happening to me? Someone try it.

is messed up.... when i try and turn it on it flashes red... and it dosent work at all. does neone know if this is a problem i can fix or do i have to send it in?
