  2. I use Wirecast to livestream and every time I try to broadcast, I get an error saying "you have run out of bandwidth" or something like that after about 10 min of broadcasting. I know I can change that in the broadcast settings but i dont know what value to change the bit rate too. I have pretty good Internet connection and know that shouldn't be the reason for my problems. I also need help making Wirecast run smoother if increasing the bandwidth doesn't fix this second issue. Every time I broadcast, my computer gets real slow and glitchy. Now it's most likely my computer because it sucks ass. I use a 2007 Dell Inspiron 1501 with 2GB of memory and 5 GB of available hard drive space so if that's not an issue then I dont know what is. Any help would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone 4 using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone 4 using Tapatalk
  3. As many of you know, Sniper is one of the original creators of Urgent Fury and the man behind the original artwork... check out this book he has published. The book that my little niece wrote and that I illustrated is now available on Amazon for FREE for a limited time. It will be free starting today until next Wednesday (2/16 - 2/20) There are 2 free bonuses. A pdf coloring book and an MP3 audio read-a-long that was voiced over by former Commander Fury. The download links are at the end of the book. It's a Kindle book but you don't need a Kindle. After "purchase", you can read it right on the computer using the cloud reader. So if any of you have any small kids or grand kids or just want to help us out, we'd appreciate a review. Thanks! http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BA0704S http://ravenfirepublishing.com
  4. dunno when i can get to a computer again b4 tomorrow. I'm going away till friday... SO HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE
  5. crazy!! ----- A group of researchers at Sandia National Laboratories have built a prototype of a small-caliber bullet capable of steering itself towards a laser-marked target located over a mile away (approx. 2,000 meters). The dart-like design has passed the initial testing stage, which included computer simulations as well as field-testing prototypes built from commercially available parts. The four-inch (10 cm) long projectile is to be used with smoothbore arms, meaning ones with non-rifled barrels. Rifling involves cutting helical grooves in the barrel to give the bullet a spin that, thanks to the gyroscopic effect, improves its aerodynamic stability and accuracy. In a self-guided projectile, however, such spinning movement would prevent the bullet from reliably turning towards the target when in flight. For this reason, the group of researchers lead by Red Jones and Brian Kast decided to use a dart-like design that includes tiny fins to allow the projectile to fly straight, without a spin. ----- the rest of the article is here: http://www.gizmag.com/sandia-self-guided-bullet/21286/
  6. My wife recently got a Flip video recorder and you need to DL'd a program onto your computer to share any of the videos recorded. But we keep getting "internal error code 2739". From what I've seen it has something to do with Adobe, but I'm not entirely sure. There are programs to DL'd to fix it, but I don't trust .exe files without proper verification first. So any help would be greatly appreciated. UF has never steered me wrong.
  7. A standard, even boring, piece of Chinese military propaganda screened in mid-July included what must have been an unintended but nevertheless damaging revelation: shots from a computer screen showing a Chinese military university is engaged in cyberwarfare against entities in the United States. The documentary itself was otherwise meant as praise to the wisdom and judgment of Chinese military strategists, and a typical condemnation of the United States as an implacable aggressor in the cyber-realm. But the fleeting shots of an apparent China-based cyber-attack somehow made their way into the final cut. ----------- http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/china-news/slip-up-in-chinese-military-tv-show-reveals-more-than-intended-60619.html

  10. The family of a budding computer programmer have on Saturday launched a campaign to raise awareness about the health risks of playing online computer games after their son died following a marathon session on his Xbox. A post-mortem revealed that 20-year-old Chris Staniforth -- who was offered a place to study Game Design at Leicester University -- was killed by a pulmonary embolism, which can occur if someone sits in the same position for several hours. Deep vein thrombosis normally affects passengers on long-haul flights, but medical experts fear youngsters who spend hours glued to their consoles might also be at risk and have urged them to take regular breaks. Professor Brian Colvin -- an expert on blood-related conditions -- said it was "unhealthy" for youngsters to spend long periods in front of their consoles. "There's anxiety about obesity and children not doing anything other than looking at computer screens," he told The Sun. David Staniforth has now launched a campaign to warn other parents of the dangers. "Games are fun and once you've started playing it's hard to stop. "Kids all over the country are playing these games for long periods - they don't realise it could kill them," he told The Sun. A coroner's court in Sheffield was told how the youngster -- who had no underlying medical conditions -- was complaining of a low heart rate before collapsing outside a Jobcentre. Staniforth's distraught father said his son would spend up to 12 hours playing on his Xbox. "He got sucked in playing Halo online against people from all over the world." Online computer games are extremely popular as thousands interact in shared science fiction worlds. Reports of gamers collapsing after spending 15 hours in front of video games are fairly common throughout Asia. In 2005, a South Korean gamer died after playing online games for three days without taking a break. Microsoft -- which manufactures the Xbox -- said it "recommend gamers take breaks to exercise as well as make time for other pursuits."
  11. Anyone else think this show is BS? I like big foot shows normally. I've watched 2 episodes and they always film something. But it with the heat sensor cameras. I know that would be a good way to find one but someone could also make one animated with a computer. So I'm calling it BS until they can film one without the heat camera. Also the Bobo guy I wouldn't believe anything that loaf told me.
  12. Ok latley i have noticed some of your guys sigs look broken on my screen. 13. So I decided to take apart my laptop today and give it a good blow job... get your mind out of the gutter! lol Anywho, I got sick of hearing my fan run at high speeds while the system was basically idling. I decided to see what the temperatures on the CPU were in a before/after scenario. Before Average temp at idle: 75 *C Average fan speed: 5000 rpm Average temp at max load: 85 *C Average fan speed: 6000 rpm After Average temp at idle: 67*C Average fan speed: 3700 rpm Average temp at max load: 75 *C Average fan speed: 5000 rpm Isn't it amazing what a little dust can do to your computer... This makes me want to go blow out my PS3 so it doesn't YLOD!
  14. I have Mcafee on my new computer. It was offered for free through my internet provider. Every few days or so it tries to do a scan on the computer. Always when i just open the computer up. I usually know nothing as it doesn't warn me. But everything runs real slow because of the scan process. And it pisses me off because I usually don't realize whats going on until late. Then a little icon comes up and reveals that a scan is in process. Mcafee! I tried looking for a place to turn off the auto scan process but can find one. Do I really need this BS?
  15. Computer game piracy is big business, but there are still those who prefer to get their games the old-fashioned way: by digging a tunnel into their local games shop and making off with as much stock as they can carry. ... http://www.thinq.co.uk/2011/1/17/man-tunnels-gamestop-steals-games/
  16. So I was at that damn evil store Walmart trying to not buy more then what I went for (impossible but yea). I got a 320gb portable HD for $59.99....yes I couldn't help it. I'm just curious how can I use it for my ps3 too along with my computer.

  19. Everytime I come to the site and it must be ad specific because I get a virus (trojan horse) warning. I can't figure out what is causing it but this is the only site it does it. Does anyone have any ideas? I have done a scan and nothing is on my computer. I use Kasperski so is there a way to isolate what is causing it in case it is something from the ads?
  20. Alright recently I am having some real trouble with my main computer/ Here is what is goiing on: Programs won't open by prompts or shortcuts If I go inderectly to open files (associated with Photoshop or dreamweaver) the program opens and works properly. I can't get on the internet or open any other files such as AIM I was able to do a Restore about a week ago and since then things got worse. I am not sure what has happened, but I am about to reinstall my OS. Before I do that what can I do to fix this. THis is something I have never seen before and am completely baffled. I would like to not have to redownload all the programs Legal or not back onto my comp. But if I have to I will. Any help would be great. Thanks
  21. So I just wiped a hard drive for a relative and re-installed XP. While I did it I thought I would do the partition thing. Which im not too familiar with in the first place. Well my issue is in this 80 gig hard drive, I set aside 5 gigs in the partition...well turns out that thats all I can use rite now...says disk is getting full and shit. I am in manage my computer than clicked disk managment and I see the other 70 or so gigs there but says unallocated. So I tried to make it a new partition and it turned geen and said unused space...but It doesnt show up when I look at the amount of disk space left. Is there a way to re-link the 70 gigs to the 5 I set aside? Or anyway to see and use the rest the drive?
  22. I know several of you guys have made some nice videos... I was wondering how you went about capturing it? I used the dazzle a while back and it did a decent job, but are there other ways to capturing video or taking screen shots and transferring over to a computer? What hardware, software, etc do you guys recommend?
