  1. It is with great pleasure to officially welcome Doc to Urgent Fury. Yesterday he started with his first article telling everyone about Lobo from Injustice. We have known Doc ever since his appearance on PlayStation's Tester Season 1 where he introduced the gaming world to Beerios. Doc has seen had a very quiet roll in the background here at UF working with the Media side of the house. Here is a little about Doc: You will see even more from Doc as he brings Replay with Doc to UFreqTV and on PlayStation Home. Welcome Doc to the team.

  3. I've had this idea in my head the first time the PS2 had launched. I guess I expected SONY & MICROSOFT to just 'come out' with this idea on their own. First, let me tell you how I came up with the idea and then I'll tell you what the idea is: "Have you ever got tired of having one game in the console and then someone hails you to play with them on another? ~ You have to 'get up', 'remove the disc' and then 'put another' one in." Sucks right? I know. Back then I was really into 6 and 12 disc changers in my cars trunk and how you never had to do anything to switch to another disc. ~ Well, WHY HAS NO ONE THOUGHT about having a 3-disc changer for our gaming consoles? It would be soo cool if they did that and if I had the resources I definitely would be pushing for it. ;-) My Idea of: The "Perfect" Gaming Console...
  4. http://pc.ign.com/articles/118/1184814p1.html If they can pull this off on the next console I'll be floored.
  5. Story by Luke Plunkett @ Kotaku.com. The upcoming Modern Warfare 3 is being developed by Infinity Ward. Or, at least, what’s left of it. The Wii version, however, is being developed by somebody else, somebody just as familiar with the series, if not quite as popular with its fans. That developer is Treyarch, the team behind Call of Duty 3, World at War and Black Ops. If you’re wondering why some of their team is “stuck” on the Wii port, well, they’ve got a ton of experience on the platform, having handled the Nintendo home console versions of World at War, Modern Warfare and Black Ops, as well as having turned out 2008′s Spider-Man: Web of Shadows on the Wii. Modern Warfare 3 is due not only on Wii but PS3, 360, PC, 3DS and Vita. Most of those versions, Vita excepted, should be out in November. Score: 0 (0 votes cast) More...
  6. Story by Griffin McElroy @ Joystiq.com. Activision’s been hesitant to talk about whether its upcoming soon-to-be-blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would also bust blocks on the Wii — despite the fact that the franchise’s last outing, Black Ops, appeared on the console. During today’s investor’s call, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg brought said hesitation to an end, explaining, “We’re pleased to have recently confirmed that we will release a Modern Warfare 3 Wii SKU this year, so as not to leave any of the community out of the excitement.” Score: 0 (0 votes cast) More...
  7. Story by Adam Rosenberg @ G4TV.com. EA Sports announced the launch of Season Ticket, a new subscription service that offers well-rounded sports-loving gamers a range of benefits, in a press release this morning. For a yearly rate of $24.99 / 2000 MS Points, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users get early access to releases in the NFL, NHL, FIFA, Tiger Woods and NCAA Football franchises, as well as discounts and specialized web content. The early game access advantage is the main draw here, but there’s a pretty significant catch that you should be aware of. Starting three days before a game’s release, players will be able to download a digital version onto their console of choice. Here’s the thing though: That download expires after the three days are up and the game arrives in retail locations. I’m sure none of us were really expecting EA to give away five full yearly releases plus the other bonuses for less than $30 per year. The digital download expiration is simply an unexpected way of ensuring a fair deal for both sides, especially with any unlocked content (Achievements/Trophies, game saves, etc.) carries over into the retail version of the game, should you purchase it. If you run out once a year to buy Madden NFL and nothing more, this might not be the program for you. Sports fans with more varied tastes will want to consider it though. Members also get a 20 percent discount on all downloadable content released for participating EA Sports titles as well as access to premium web content. The first items to be offered are Creation Center packs for FIFA Soccer 12 which “provide a deeper set of customization tools and abilities within Creation Center to build your own teams and tournaments.” Finally, all members receive a membership badge, both a physical version and an EASPORTS.com profile-connected digital version. Sadly, no decoder ring to go along with it. Score: 0 (0 votes cast) More...
  8. http://playstationlifestyle.net/2011/07/31/pre-order-the-official-sony-wireless-headset-for-a-bargain/ Back in March, Sony unveiled a new wireless headset that has been designed with PlayStation 3 owners in mind. With 7.1 surround sound, volume controls, retractable microphone, and even notifications that sync on the PS3 console, gamers looking to get ahead have taken note. Unfortunately, with its $99 price tag, some people have been reluctant to pre-order, but the remedy for that is Amazon. Amazon currently has the official Sony Wireless Stereo Headset available to pre-order for $65, a discount of nearly $35. This is very likely to be the lowest price point you’ll see this pair of headphones available for quite some time, and free shipping is included. TV stereo doesn’t do your video games justice, and if you don’t already have a set of headphones, you should consider picking up a pair. The Sony Wireless Stereo Headset will release in September. Pre-order it now.
  9. I got my X41s before MW2 come out but now I traded in all my 360 games including the console towards a PS3. I have no use for the X41s due to the fact of them not being compatible with my PS3 I will post pics of them asap! I'm selling them for $100 (willing to work out a deal) Thank you -hLx BaCKOUT
