Do to the increased number of applicants to OGC, I would like to say a few words about who we are, and what we are about. We are a 21 yrs and older gaming clan that was was established back in 2003 during SOCOM II. Most of the original members are still playing today, and one of the unique qualities of OGC is our extremely low turnover rate.
People find us, and they rarely leave us. The reasons we can proudly claim that we are one of the few elite gaming clans in the SOCOM/COD community are the things that set us apart, namely our recruiting policies and Chain of Command.
The clan officers have worked very hard to create a drama free, mature gaming envirnoment with a focus on teamwork and strategy. We have members from all walks of life: parents, cops, EMT medics, students, CEOs, corporate executives, marines, air force flyboys, teachers, big rig drivers, accountants,- you name it we got it, but everyone one of them is respectful to one another and has agreed to put this clan first and follow orders the best they can while warring or practicing for a war. Structure is key. Also key is taking our time with our recruits- many guys here have waited anywhere from 6-20 weeks to get their invite, depending on their history.
