For about 3lbs of meat/poultry
1 - 1 1/2c Aloha Shoyu (hawaiian soy sauce)
1 - 1 1/2c water
1/4c vinegar
1t minced garlic
4 pieces of crushed ginger or you can substitute with 1-2tbsp ground ginger
1/4 brown sugar
1tbsp pepper
marinade overnight for best results
you can edit depending on what your tastebuds are asking for
