Zipper Confirms 5-Player Co-op for SOCOM 4

Zipper Interactive, the original creators and developers of SOCOM, have confirmed that SOCOM 4, will have a 5-player co-op mode. In a comment made on a PlayStation Blog post, Jeremy Dunham, Senior Community Manager at Zipper Interactive said:

 

“No, we have 5-player co-op mode! We’ll be going into that a later date, though”

 

No other details have been mentioned, but it is rumored to include 15 co-operative missions with support for up to five players online.

 

SOCOM 4 releases exclusively for PlayStation 3 on April 19th, 2011.
