Have you ever wanted to play video games against a celebrity? On April 16th, PlayStation Heroes winner and San Francisco Giants fan, Josh Dirk did just that. He laid claim to a gaming opportunity of a lifetime — a one-on-one, high-stakes battle of MLB 15 The Show against Los Angeles Dodger, Yasiel Puig.

Dirk rocked an ear-to-ear grin as he walked in Puig’s home, where the competition took place. Dirk knew there was a chance he might lose, but didn’t care because as he put it, “he was already a winner,†and that he was. To top off this amazing event, comedian Al Madrigal kept things interesting with a hilarious play by play commentary. Check out this video to see how it all went down and who took home the win.

 

This event was a grand slam for Josh Dirk and the PlayStation Nation. We all played a role in raising much needed funds for an amazing cause, The V Foundation for Cancer Research!
