After feedback from Season 1 we have adjusted how Season 2 will play. We have increased the match size to 7 v 7 and roster size to 32 players. One of the biggest changes will be the best of 3 matches. Many of our players have asked for this so here we go. We are going to limit the teams to 24 with divisions of 6 to shorten the length of the league schedule. We will continue with the Sunday - Tuesday Schedule at 9pm central. All of this is to eventually build up to a TacMap Tournament. We are getting everyone used to long schedules, so when you are recruiting be sure to talk about the need to endure through a schedule with several weeks. It has been a crazy year here at Urgent Fury. We actually have a league running for America's Army Proving Grounds, we have a COD and Fortnite Pro Team and that is just the big stuff. John and I had the pleasure of going to the America's Army Dev Studio where we discussed various plans for 2019 including more leagues, a possible TacMap and more. We provided some valuable feedback about ways to build the community, improve tournament play and feedback on gameplay. You will see even more from America's Army as we are planning a long term relationship that will include involvement in the development of the new game! We have integrated Toornament's API to allow you to login and even create your account with your Toornament login. in 2019 we will begin a full integration project to allow you to completely manage your tournament activities right here on the site going forward. The Toornament platform has made managing the AAPG league a breeze. We have started using Discord more as a chat platform at the communities request. There are some good and bad things that have come out of this, starting with Season 2 of AAPG Boot Camp we will start utilizing the Clan Rep section to give us the ability to reach the reps easier and have a more controlled communication portal. With the latest release of IPB we added Communities, giving clans that would still like to have a forum but do not want to pay for it a free option right here. Feel free to create one and play around. As many of you saw the fires in California ravaged Paradise, our very own @Chili327 lost his home and his business is one of the few that is still standing. Reach out to him as there is a gofundme for his business and any support you can give would be great! We have also continued our support for Stack-Up.org and encourage everyone to support this organization which serves Active Duty and Military Veterans. Even a $10 donation makes a difference. Finally many ask me over and over about H-Hour in their latest update they have said they will not work on PS4 until the PC code is finalized and frozen. I hate to say it guys I do not believe this will ever make its way to PS4 or PS5 for that matter (we know they are probably getting ready to announce the new platform). We are sorry to the community that we got involved with that project for it only to be a waste of time and money for all of us. We wish your families a merry Christmas and happy New Year. Our login integration with Toornament is now complete, you can connect your Toornament account to Urgent Fury by going to https://www.urgentfury.com/settings/login/?service=13 or if you are registering for the first time, you can create your account by logging in with Toornament. No passwords are shared between the sites, it is done using OATH 2.0. This also works with our 2Factor options of Authy and Google Authenticator for those that would like an extra layer of security.
