I dont care, im getting a part time job this summer, and saving up for Killzone 2, Socom, Borderlands.... and anything else that comes out!

Well, i remember reading a game informer magazine about Borderlands...

The game will also have a unique feature similar to Diablo's random level generation system. This new system will generate about 500,000 different guns as well as 500,000 different item and armor variations. According to the preview of the game in Game Informer magazine,

 

"We saw a ridiculous amount of guns, but perhaps the strangest was a revolver that fired shotgun shells. Gearbox is constantly surprised with what the system comes up with. They've seen rifles shoot everything from homing darts to rockets. 'One of the guns tracks onto something and locks, and after three seconds, [the target] suddenly explodes,' director Matthew Armstrong says."

 

The features of the maps will also be randomly generated. While towns, and the general paths connecting them will remain the same, Borderlands features a system that randomly instances the surrounding landscape, with randomly placed things such as bunkers, towers, caves, enemies, and exploding cacti. All of this is done without a loading screen. Gearbox plans that the player will not see a loading screen after they boot up the game.

All i have to say... Holy shit, over 500,000 DIFFERENT GUNS?!!! You'd have to spend like 24/7 of your summer just inorder to experience 1000 of those guns. then to top it off, it has 500,000 different item / armor variations... thats mad crazy, and this game has 4 player online co-op.... For once, a FPS RPG that looks like its gonna kick ass, cant wait for when it comes out this September!

They could lighten up on the obstacle course however. I've been in combat and didn't see a single 20-foot wall with rope hanging over the side, nor did I ever do any pushups after completing basic training. I can hear the Drill Sgt. In the "New army" now, "Get down and give me ... er .. One."

I think the 20-foot wall is to simulate roping down from a Black Hawk. But i agree with the push up part, except for the fact that it increases your endurance and how much pressure areas of your body can handle.

Ya Macoo, definatly should have mandatory service, but people are going to bitch and moan if we tried that. they'd probally say the government is taking away their rights and freedoms (Damn the founding fathers for having that in there) and say that the US is like the new Facism... Personally i think that if you want the right to vote, u gotta serve in the Armed forces.. Earn your rights.

Well, i've had my 60GB PS3 since launch and havnt had this problem, and i use a wired connection, but whenever i do use a wireless, i got 100% connection strength, so no problem.

Lol I'm bored with CoD4 already I can't find a good challenge at all in it I play everything I even finished half of the challenges and am at the 9th prestige(stopping at 9 cuz the gold cross looks gay.) I'm even in the top 5,000 with kills. I'm not gonna play it today I did beat assassins creed today and the ending ended in mysterious to be continued format so now i'm expecting a #2 coming soon.

I just Hope the 2nd one would have the damn subtitles -.-
