DviX is used with most website, and best for clan to use as well it does give you the highest quality you can get, plus with the lowest space storage for example 5 minute video in dvix format would be about 20 megabyte the same video, have the same quality but uses .avi format would be about 200 to 250 megabyte and thats why most video site like youtube for example don't like this type of format.

for the video part, your best shot would be the program image ready. and it comes with photoshop. as you can edit it on photoshop, and of course have like a lot of layers for the video part, then transfer it to image ready over there you can make it as .gif picture, then you are good to go.
