At least you can instantly mute a player in CoD. I agree the noob tubes are out of control as always.. you own a guys 5 or six times in a a row.. he is dumb enough to keep coming at you and getting killed.. till finally he tosses in his morality card and grabs a GL to end your streak... LAME but when playing in UF tourney ... its all private just like it is in socom.. and all play is fair and no GLs.. now practicing for these wars in pubby rooms is a different story..but all in all are there not idiots on ALL games? Im just glad that you can mute the 5 year old getting told to do the dishes.. instead of waiting till the lobby to do so.

Agreed. It will never be better than the two analogs for hardcore gamers like a lot of us here. Maybe it will help them gain some of the more casual audience. But I doubt it. Wii owns that and probably will for the rest of this gen.

Prolog....If you are in Canada, you should be able to watch the info repeats right before the new show on Global.

Yeah, unfortunately I download the show since I am never available to watch it when it originally airs on global. The downloaded show sometimes has the info repeats and sometimes doesn't. No worries.

Have a copy of that not on Hulu? It's US only.

No where in that IGN link does it say IW is NOT making COD. Treyarch is set on making one this fall (as always) and there's possibly going to be two COD's in 2011. With the success that IW has had with Modern Warfare, I don't think it's likely that they'll just drop IW, even with the issues they've been having.

 

Sledgehammer is said to be making an action-adventure game which immediately brings to mind Third Person. I highly doubt that Activision would drop IW to start COD in a new genre when there's no guarantee it would work. Expectations are so high after COD4 engine came to life that it's too much of a risk to completely get rid of it.

 

Activision recently said that I believe 68% of all of their sales and profits come from Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, and World of Warcraft. Guitar Hero is a dying franchise and everyone knows about that. If Activision were to screw up by not letting IW do another MW, and let Sledgehammer take over the series in another genre, they're completely fucked.
