Action-platformer Guacamelee! is up on the Store for both PSN and PS Vita, and best of all, it’s Cross-Buy. Critically acclaimed XCOM: Enemy Unknown also hits this week, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, now’s your chance. If you like a good deal, there are some promotions on Borderlands, Hot Shots and Zombie Driver HD content, so check them out. We explored their unpredictable nature, what the Cordyceps fungus has done to these humans, and how we as developers worked some plausible science about infection into the game. Cross-Buy Guacamelee! for the PS3 and PS Vita on PSN this week. Guacamelee! draws its inspiration from traditional Mexican culture and folklore, and features many interesting and unique characters. The game also blurs the boundaries between combat and platforming by making many of the moves useful and necessary for both of these. The game features a down on his luck Mexican named Juan Aguacate, who sets out to save the world when El Presidente’s Daughter is kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skeleton. The story takes place in and around a small village in Mexico, and has the player travelling through alternate dimensions including “The World of the Dead†and “The World of Nightmares†on his quest to rescue the girl he loves. Trust us when we say that American Dreams doesn’t spoil any of the story found in <a href="http://us.playstation.com/games/the-last-of-us-ps3.html?CMP=soc_us__gm_tlou_comic_04_05_13" target="_blank">The Last of Us game</a>, and instead gives you a great introduction to Ellie and her life as told through events inside the quarantine zone taking place prior to the game. I have to say, even though I’ve been able to watch the American Dreams series take shape over the past several months as we worked on it with Dark Horse Comics, it was still no less awesome to finally see it in front of me and read Issue #1 as an actual, real comic book. April is <a href="http://www.aspca.org/about-us/aspca-april/" target="_blank">Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month</a> and we’re honoring this with some animal themed items for your <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/tag/uncharted-3/" target="_blank">UNCHARTED 3</a> multiplayer characters. First off, we have some very special and limited DLC available for purchase this month. Pogo and Trumpet, our resident Naughty Dogs, are now immortalized on custom t-shirts and weapons.
