I agree 100 percent... I spent almost 98 percent of my time on XDA when looking for phone rooting stuff and ways to enhance it.....Lots of great info there bro.

Droid is king of all hands down and the google voice guided navigation is the best thing since sliced bread. I have a captivate which also has a superamoled and it is probably the best screen available on the market right now. It is super bright and very sharp. I'm not to sure about having a slide out keyboard though. I have adapted to the on screen keyboard and have no real desire to go backwards. HTC is one of if not the leading android manufacturers and the EVO is a great phone. The technology in the evo is starting to get a little old because of new phones coming out but is pretty solid.

 

I don't really think you could go wrong either way it's just a preference choice at this point. Best thing you can do is head over to XDA developers forum once you make your choice and get your phone rooted so you can unlock all it's potential.

XDA developers is a great place, but I dont recommend it for people new to rooting their phones...

you can also go to droidforums.net, they are a little more laid back, thats where I went when I first rooted my droid.

As for the phone, I for one absolutly hate Sprint.... No offense, but I had sprint for 4 years and was sooo happy to leave them. I would stick with TMobile or go with Verizon..... matter of fact I believe TMobile was acquired by AT&T?

As for Phones. I would look at the new Bionic or Thunderbolt by verizon, although the 4G LTE isnt in all places yet, it IMO isprobably gonna be the best 4G phones out on the android system....

Although I prefer the Bionic because it is made by Motorola, Im am not a big fan of HTC phones

I loved 09, hated 10, and I hated 11, although 12 is a better change, I still am torn between whether I want to buy it or not...I rented it, and it is better than 11 for sure, but I still dont think it is as good as 09 was.

The party system, clan match system and ability to create custom rooms is supposed to fill in the gap of no lobbies. I think Devs figure ADD has taken over the world and lobbies are to complicated/take to long to find a game.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the mic system either. I guess I could get use to it if need be but it's one of those, "if it's not broke don't fix it," things.

Yeah pretty sure they are going to work on the mic issues in classic...HellI have a good mic now, and it still isnt working right in classic mode...

Crusty is right though, it takes a week or two to get used to it... I am just now starting to build back up my K:D ratio after getting used to it.

i found it on page 5 of the forums. here is 12 pages of discussion over clans that have left, disbanned, or jus tno longer play here. after today, you can add at least 4 more to this thread. i didnt bother to count, but just cruising through quickly, it looks like somewhere around 40-50 clans have come and gone in the last 6 years. but for some reason, urgent fury is still here. tow and sniper fucked up sometimes. shane, ace, and john fuck up sometimes. they are human, and decisions are made, and when your talkin about a website with hundreds of people all over the world, not everyone is gonna agree.

 

so instead of a bunch a more posts, if your gonna leave, dont let the door hit ya in the ass. to those who are stayin, good luck in all future tournaments. urgent fury was here yesterday, and my dollar says its still here tomorow.

I wanted to post this instead of replying to each one of your posts. It sucks to see you guys go, I haven't been here long, and personally don't know all of you guys that well. I have however played with some of you.

Life always throws us curves, and even in places like this, shit happens. It comes a time when we are at a crossroads and have to make a decision whether to do one thing, or try a differant thing.

I am not one to talk trash or run my mouth about someone for a decision they made. I am new here, and while I have not had the oppurtunity to experiance the things like Ronin or Horseman things you mentioned, I hope that I will soon.

I wish all of you guys the best of luck in whatever you do, whether its at another site, or if one of you guys make your own. I still consider you all friends, and hope that sometime in the future I will see you guys on S4, MW3, BF3, etc...
