I am going to take the initiative to get this ball rolling. For one, sitting around with hands in pocket never gets anyone anywhere; waiting for Zipper to patch the game doesn't go much further. Two, this is a gaming/tournament community not a gaming news forum first, it is a tournament website first, news second. So here is the challenge to all UF Socom 4 clans. 1) Get your clan signed up on the UFGL for Socom 4. To do this, members of your clan must get registered on the UF forums, put the appropriate tags and clan name in on their profile. 2) Then the clan leader of the UFGL team (once the team has been created) must send out invites to their members. Then each member must accept the invites by going to "current team invites" in the UFGL login box in the top right corner of the page. 3) Once your clan is all signed up, begin challenging other clans! Wars should be completed using the "Clan Challenge" feature on S4. Match type should be determined on UFGL, match options are: Classic Supression, Classic Bomb Squad, Classic Objective, Classic Last Defense, Classic Uplink. Maps will not be determined by UFGL, only by what the clans get or vote for during the match. Match start times will be determined on UFGL. The challenging clan (on UFGL) should send the correct clan challenge invite at the appropriate time to the opposing clan (this means that the challenger will be Spec Ops, and the clan getting challenged will be Insurgents). Clans should be ready to play about 5 to 10 minutes prior to the official start time, to allow for clans to make sure they are ready to go. Once a clan is ready, they should set their status to "READY" so that the invite challenge can be sent. This challenge starts NOW (since no one has yet to play a match) and will run until the first patch for Socom 4 is released by Zipper, which is expected to be mid-June. I am currently seeking options as a reward for the top 3 clans (by XP) at the end. If anyone has anything to give or ideas to share for the reward, please contact myself or any other UF Staff/Director with them.
