Nemesis Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Call it a decadent exercise in conspicuous consumption or a stunning feat of flour, salt and sugar-based architecture. Either way, three junk-food sculptors honored Sunday’s Super Bowl by crafting a 7-foot replica of Miami’s Sun Life Stadium out of Twinkies, Slim Jims, Doritos and four dozen other snacks totaling 110,428 calories. Break.com’s making-of video, embedded right, documents how three staffers constructed Snack Stadium 2010 atop a pool table over the course of 10 cholesterol-packed hours. A Break.com representative says employees of the Los Angeles-based webotainment site later disassembled the stadium and distributed the food to homeless people. Read on for an exhaustive list of the ingredients used to make this monument to obesity. Playing field: frosting, Cheez Whiz, whipped cream, wafer crackers, salami , cheese, celery, cake decorator tube icing, Red Hots, Good & Plenty, Slim Jims. Stadium: Pixy Stix, Hershey’s Kisses, wafer crackers, graham crackers, cookies, Doritos, salami, cheese, licorice, giant Hershey bar. Parking lot: Ho Hos, Twinkies, broccoli, cauliflower, frosting, burgers, hot dogs. Players: Carrots, Vienna sausages, black olives, green olives. Crowd: Chex Mix, popcorn, Cracker Jacks, trail mix, jelly beans, mixed nuts, pretzels, peanuts, Pringles, pizza, Sno-Caps, buffalo wings, mini marshmallows, Cheez-Its, Goldfish crackers, Famous Amos Cookies, Necco Wafers, nachos. So after seeing that what's on the everyone's menu for this sunday's game? Quote
