Video/Movie Editing Software?..............

Hey Guys im Doing a project in school and i wanted to know if anyone knew any good perferably "free" movie/video editing software that you would be able to add backround music and clips and stuff too?...........anyone can help out?

Your first look should be windows movie maker if you have windows xp.

I used Windows Movie Maker and it works just fine. Just be careful about the music you put on it. A buddy of mine made a video for a project and used copyrighted music and got nailed for it.

I use Windows Movie maker, too. It is pretty easy to figure out and should be good to edit clips and add music. For anything more advanced, you should try Sony Vegas.
