PsP Help?

when i bought the psp from my friend it was hacked( it could play downloaded games). i now have a ps3 and it requires the psp's latest update to connect and well this hacked version i have wont update and i was wondering how i can bypass this or completely wipe my psp and then start over. ive already set it to defaults and formatted the memory stick but the current version stays.

If you have any games, turn the PSP on w/ no game in it and after it powers up, put the game in.

Go to the game menu and on some games you can downnload the updates from the game. Find a game that has an update and download that and it will be like starting over. Thats what I know

what firmware version do you have now? and pm me and ill tell you where 2 get it. i have 3.52 m33 firmware and remote play works on my psp and can still play isos from the stick
