The move is very sensitive it will recognize the slightest twist of your wrist. Be careful to not turn your wrists at all during your swing.

There are plenty of instructions at xda but a lot of reading is required. Options never hurt though.

What is XDA developers?
It's a very large forum dedicated to rooting/unlocking cell phones for custom software. The android operating system is developed by google, based on linux and open source therefore there is a lot of options for customizing software. Developers congregate there to build their software and people donate for their services.

Droid is king of all hands down and the google voice guided navigation is the best thing since sliced bread. I have a captivate which also has a superamoled and it is probably the best screen available on the market right now. It is super bright and very sharp. I'm not to sure about having a slide out keyboard though. I have adapted to the on screen keyboard and have no real desire to go backwards. HTC is one of if not the leading android manufacturers and the EVO is a great phone. The technology in the evo is starting to get a little old because of new phones coming out but is pretty solid.
I don't really think you could go wrong either way it's just a preference choice at this point. Best thing you can do is head over to XDA developers forum once you make your choice and get your phone rooted so you can unlock all it's potential.

I've noticed that when I watch TV commercials, the advertisements are what makes me always want to 'run to the kitchen' before the movie is back on. So I've lost 13 lbs average by just muting the TV and checking my e-mails while the commercials show ;-)
Got three letters for you D V R lol

My copy of Confrontation is getting traded in when I pick up s4 and I don't even care if I have to pay them to take it. I am not one who usually trades in games but for Confrontation I can make an exception. I no longer have any use for it again ever. I suppose I could make it a coaster also..
S4 is Socom... It may not be exactly like what we remember but then if it was why bother making a new game? I would love to see some things make a come back though like maps and modes.

What about the lobbys?!?!?!?!?!!
The party system, clan match system and ability to create custom rooms is supposed to fill in the gap of no lobbies. I think Devs figure ADD has taken over the world and lobbies are to complicated/take to long to find a game.

Rounds are going to be way to long imo.
5 is a good number to me. It's not to long and not to short. All classic game modes should be 11 rounds and 5 minutes in my opinion.

Anyone see the reveal trailer? Does this look like another game we are all to familiar with or what?
Yes it is a bit of a shameless plug.. lol
-
Yes they do overlap but sometimes your talking and your name isn't showing etc. It's just really sloppy at this point. Maybe once they tune it up it will be better. When I posted my opinions on the beta boards I asked for the old school PTT system and if they couldn't do that to just make it open. Problem with this system is it really hampers communication short call outs aren't possible because you have the mic for at least 10 seconds then you can't touch it again for 20.. So if you call out "guy going right" and then 7 seconds later he changes his mind and moves and you would like to call that out you have to wait another 10 seconds. This could be old news by that time. The whole system is quirky and personally I thought the old way was better.
-
Yeah I'm not a fan of the mic system either. I guess I could get use to it if need be but it's one of those, "if it's not broke don't fix it," things.
No one is.. That and the camera issue have been the two biggest complaints from day one on the beta boards. Problem is with it being so close to the release date they are just working on the initial patch for the game and probably won't patch the beta.
-
It took me a week or two to really get used to it. The aiming is tough to adjust to and I think there might be a bit of a bug in there. Crank your look speed up pretty high to get that old socom feel back in that department. Also as stated above play with people you know will work together as much as possible. Doesn't hurt to pray they put demo and control in either.

Classic is much better. XP and the camera issues are still there but classic is still the way to go.

I played the beta for the first time. I played 2 game types and 2 maps for about 90 minutes.
If this is what we can expect for Socom 4 then, speaking as someone who's been playing Socom since Socom 2, the Socom title is dead. If that's their attempt to resurrect the title it is an epic fail.
Did you play classic or respawn big D?
-
Yeah the socom push to talk blows.
This is what happens when people try to reinvent a perfectly good wheel.

/6 and a multi platform game... hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
They couldn't get a single platform game right.. What are these guys thinking.

Does the PSN "Accurateshot-" ring a bell for anyone? Apparently he is the one that has been behind all of this BS.
Yes I have heard that name before. Can't think of where at the moment.

More than a decade making this game, and it looks like crap.
That's kinda the problem I guess.. it's taking so long to make this game the tech has passed it by several times.

Headsets must be really nice for people who live in apartments and such... No neighbors complaining about all the loud booms day and night. lol

It resembles MAG because it was made in the same engine and by the same developer. I personally think the graphics are much much better than MAG though.

No but the stereo makes up for it and fills the sound in.

No. Tundra and Titan might maybe be in the same league as an F 150 but those trucks can't touch anything in the 250/2500 or 350/3500+ range. If you want to haul anything like a 5th wheel or any other heavy equipment there are only 3 choices and they are all American. If all you need to haul is a jet ski feel free to go foreign.
The best things to come out of our American car factories are our trucks. When you can get a diesel engine or a V10 out of Japan then we can hit this subject again.
