Blood, There are some really great open world games on pc these days. You would have to expand beyond just shooters though. Civilization, silent hunter, dayz, company of heroes etc They are different types of games but all let you choose how you want to play them. Not necessarily true valve is a top tier developer and if there is a market for their game they will most likely expand on it. The reason why it's been so long is because Gabe from valve has never been a big fan of consoles and if it's not broke don't fix it. How about having a hard drive large enough so that you never have to own another disc again.. While we're at it let's digitally distribute all our games so that you never have to leave the house to buy a game again and devs can have more flexibility with pricing.
