  1. there has definitely been an evolution in clans, that is for sure. Clans back then tended to be smaller, warring with the same guys day in, day out. I really miss the socom 2 days where people were proud of the rooms they put up, hell they were proud of the servers they were in. You could always find friends if your boys weren't on by visiting certain servers and finding a friendly clan name up. I def miss those ranked rooms we were able to put up, beats the hell out of the server migration crap we have going on now, and the way the newer socom rooms and servers are set up

  2. that could make sense. usually forums have 2 sections, one for clans to recruit, and one for people to post. I honestly do agree with not having the people post...to me that is just lazy. If there is a dedicated recruiting section, then a free agent should peruse THOSE posts and make his intentions known

  3. yeah, just sucks. I'd still be on socom if they'd put out better games. I hate the respawn style of the cod games, but as a player you have to adapt to the times or just fade away. No matter the game, I'll do my best to be an impact player rather than stay home and safe on a garbage produced game

  4. speaking of unknown casts and comic book feel...effin Spartacus was bad assery for sure. gore, hard core fornication, xena warrior princesses full nudity, did i mention gore, and plot twists and stuff. Oh, and the gay guys were hot too

  5. i dunno, both have kind of a slow pace. I like the side characters of boardwalk more than i like the main ones. altho, the asian dude from walking dead is my fav. that and the blond chick that i forgot lived, not died (my bad!) i'm all about her, i would put my finger in her anal vag

  6. Thanks, that was my point. Obviously since I'm here already I know the span of games you guys are trying to encompass. However, if this video is to be distributed around other sites and other venues to garner interest in UF...well, then it becomes a little less obvious to someone that isn't already familiar with UF. But, like you said, maybe there is a reason for that.

  7. ohhhh gotcha, I guess because this is a forum and not spoken that some people may be perceived as being flip or rude if they're not careful ;) So would the reason you mainly featured socom play with a few seconds of chopper at the end mean that you will be shifting UFGL to mainly socom, even before the new socom is out? I'm just postulating based on the video and what it was promoting, and your answers

  8. yeah i saw those. That is what I'm talking about. To me, when you're showcasing what the tourney is about, you'd want a mashup of clips while the narration is talking about the tourney, showcasing the main titles...not just a sequence of some guys running thru one socom map. And then you follow that with a quick scroll of the games offered, almost like a quick strobe light saying "i hope you saw that!" lol

Its just my opinion, and I'm anal about presentation and marketing...since, you know, thats what I do...but the quick scroll and the helo at the end just aren't enough to suggest that you take any other title seriously. And with the majority of gamers out there playing a COD title (i think), it is pretty limiting to showcase a game thats been out what, a year and a half? Almost makes the vid outdated until the "oh btw, there is a helicopter at the end of the video"
