    Valkyria Revolution (formerly Valkyria Azure Revolution, if you’ve been watching the title in Japan) is poised to make landfall on the shores of the Americas and Europe in 2017 on PS4 and PS Vita! Now, maybe you tried Valkyria Chronicles Remastered earlier this year, or maybe you and the rest of Squad 7 persevered through the Gallian Empire invasion back on PS3 in 2008. Well, take one last look at those memories, because war is about to change. Quite literally a revolution from previous Valkyria titles, Valkyria Revolution takes place in an alternate time, continent, and universe. However, there are a few common threads throughout: the magical, azure-colored mineral ragnite returns in this game; as do the Valkyria, the last of an ancient race of highly destructive, demi-gods. Valkyria Revolution shows how a single spark can ignite the inferno of war. Five lifelong friends consumed by personal revenge plunge an entire continent into a terrible war, sacrificing the lives of countless innocents for a cause based on twisted half-truths and outright lies. This “Circle of Five†use their combined political and military influence to motivate their small, economically blockaded homeland to rise up as a powerful resistance against imperialist oppressors. Will the Circle of Five be remembered as heroic liberators, or will their selfish motives expose them as traitorous conspirators who sacrificed untold lives just to carry out a personal vendetta? Heavy, right? That’s the story players will be chipping away at in Valkyria Revolution, but there are lots of other elements at play. It’s a ground-up look at war, and the blurred lines of morality it inevitably crosses. Ultimately, the game asks: Are you truly a hero? Or just the least despicable bad guy? And speaking of morality – permadeath is a returning gameplay element as well. Sure, it may be tactically advantageous to sacrifice a soldier for the good of the team, but you’ll have to be the one who bears the bad news to their next of kin. Combat is strikingly different from Valkyria Chronicles, as well. In Revolution, turn-based action is replaced with active-style combat on a living, evolving battlefield. Tactics still play an important role, and your squad has highly customizable AI. You can adjust their battle role to prioritize general roles like Offense, Defense, and Support, or you can get granular and have individuals focus on when to use spells or guns, or even whether they should target enemy grunts or leaders first. Plus, there’s a highly customizable weapons tree. Players can decide which upgrades they want to make to their unique, individual melee weapons, and augment by figuring out which ranged weapon works best – anything from a pistol to a rocket launcher. And finally, let’s not forget – this is war: the fate of a nation and countless lives are on the line. There are plenty of contacts you’ll have to make in order to keep the military intelligence going – and your relationship with your squadmates may mean the difference between difference between survival or ruinous defeat.     Greetings fans of PlayStation around the world! I come to you through a foggy haze of sleep deprivation due to the major caffeine fueled push to get this crazy game further down the road to completion. While playing through the game with the leads recently I realized how incredibly fortunate I am to be able to make things that (hopefully) make people happy. We playtest the game exhaustively but still, as a team, we are pretty cut off from the players and fans over the multi-year course of developing a big game like this. While the time with play testers does give us a sense of what is working and what is not, it is getting a chance to sit down and spend some time with a passionate fan helps put so many things into perspective. God of War | PlayStation.com Just before our E3 reveal I had the opportunity to meet up with God of War super fan Emmanuel Mojica Rosas hailing all the way from Xalisco Nayarit, Mexico. At this point in the project this was probably the busiest and most stressful time for me but I was still incredibly excited to meet this guy to hear about his journey with God of War and see how he reacts to where we are taking the game. First, because I know how much the entire region of Latin America appreciates God of War. So much so that I want to go out there and meet more people when it comes closer to the release of the game. Second, I work in service of the audience and everything I do, every decision I make, is aimed at giving the player the best experience possible. The story and heart of the journey still comes from within, realized through the unending tenacity and creativity of an incredible team, but the end experience is painstakingly crafted for those who will play it. As a creator, being able to hang out and talk about the game with someone like Emmanuel, whose life has been impacted by God of War, was something very special to me. This project gave me a chance to work with Annie Sundberg and Ricki Stern, two incandescently talented directors whose previous works (In My Father’s House, The Devil Came on Horseback) I absolutely love. It is exciting to see how they took hold of the concept, made it their own and surprised me with the end result – and I was in it so that is saying something. In the end I feel like I made a good friend in Emmanuel. He truly inspired me with his overwhelming positivity and tenacity to overcome anything life can throw at him and made me realize that I would love to hang out with more fans from around the world.     Starting today, Overwatch is getting into the holiday spirit with our brand-new seasonal event: Winter Wonderland, and we’re hoping you’ll join us for some holiday cheer! For the next three weeks, Hanamura and King’s Row will be decked out in festive lights, there will be a number of new holiday items for you to unlock, and you can take on your friends in a snowball fight on Ecopoint: Antarctica. As with our previous seasonal events, instead of receiving regular Loot Boxes, during Winter Wonderland you’ll receive special Winter Loot Boxes filled with holiday-themed skins, highlight intros, emotes, victory poses, sprays, player icons, and voice lines. Overwatch Winter Wonderland | Full Gallery Winter Loot Boxes can be earned or purchased, and each will contain at least one item from our Winter Wonderland collection. In this brawl, Mei’s reconfigured her blaster to fire a single, high-powered snowball. Taking down an enemy only takes one hit, but a miss can be costly. Cover your retreat with ice walls and cryo-freezing or you won’t last long.     A franchise doesn’t survive for more than 20 years without taking a few chances. Case in point: Resident Evil 4, which famously upended series tradition by shifting to an over-the-shoulder camera perspective and a more aggressive play style. Now, with the series at another crossroads, Resident Evil 7 biohazard is going full-blown FPS, complete with an optional PlayStation VR mode. Based on the four hours I played last week at Capcom’s US headquarters, I think the new approach injects vitality and confidence into the iconic horror series. To minimize spoilers, I’ll keep story details broad. You play as Ethan Winters, an everyman searching for his missing wife in the backwaters of Louisiana. Early in the game, Ethan is abducted by the Baker family, a band of degenerate locals who bear more than a passing resemblance to the Peacock family from that one episode of X-Files. Before long, I was free to roam the claustrophobic hallways of the Baker estate, a sprawling house that radiates sickness and contamination at every turn. Animal carcasses festoon the walls, every surface is encrusted with gore. It’s a carnival of carnage. Despite the new FPS gameplay style, Resident Evil 7 is still a proper survival-horror game. You’ll encounter doors “locked from the other side,†fret over which weapons and supplies to bring into the field, and solve environmental puzzles using artifacts like the trusty Crank. One welcome detail comes in the form of mixable chemicals, which you can combine with herbs, gunpowder, and other items to craft precious supplies in the field. Enemy encounters (again, I’m trying to stay broad here) are tough and tense, thanks to scarce ammunition and unnervingly persistent A.I. design that sees members of the Baker family freely stalking the halls in ways that reminded me of the xenomorph from Alien Isolation. I was also pleased to see Capcom experiment with new narrative devices, including VHS tapes that allow you to see — and play — the story from the perspective of other characters. All the while, a mysterious informant checks in on you via phones scattered throughout the house.     Sup dawgs. We’re psyched to say that Strafe is coming to PS4! For those of you who don’t know what Strafe is, here’s some info to prepare you for the cultural revolution. But first check out this gameplay trailer. Let’s continue on if you’re eyes haven’t burst from the red-hot action. Strafe is a roguelike first-person shooter that’s pushing the limits of computer-generated photorealism and hardcore sci-fi action into unimaginable territory. You’re a Scrapper on an impossibly dangerous mission at the edge of the galaxy. You only have one life to navigate all the nightmarish terrains of Strafe. When you die, nothing will ever be the same again. The game is fast and dynamic with more than 30 weapons and 20 bloodthirsty enemies, but I wanted to cover the persistent gore in this blog post. Gore is special in Strafe and we are working hard to make our gore systems second to none. We spent a lot of time working on the blood and gore in Strafe because we feel that it’s important for the player to leave their mark on a level. After a firefight it’s awesome to see the mess you’ve made and it’s rewarding to know that every splash of blood represents a challenge you’ve overcome. The gore is also great for telegraphing where you’ve been. Since the blood and gibs never fade away you have a breadcrumb trail of carnage that helps you prevent backtracking. Lastly, the persistent gore opened up new gameplay possibilities with acid-based enemies. These enemies bleed acid that will burn the player if they stand in it. So avoid it at all costs or cover it up with the blood of another enemy to make a safe path! Strafe is coming early next year! View the full article

    2016 has been pretty wild for me. After many years of development, I released Stardew Valley, a country-life RPG inspired by some of my favorite games from the past, such as Harvest Moon. Stardew has done better than I ever imagined. The amount of positive feedback I’ve received has blown me away. Now, I’m very excited to say that Stardew Valley will be coming to PS4 on December 13 in North America and the December 14 in Europe! In Stardew Valley, you’ll inherit your grandfather’s old farm and move away from the city to start a new life on your own. Over time, you’ll gain new skills and learn to live off the land. You’ll make friends with the locals, learn their stories, and maybe even start a family with one of the 12 bachelors or bachelorettes. Stardew Valley gives you plenty of freedom to create the homestead of your dreams! When I began working on Stardew Valley about five years ago, I had very little game development experience. As time went on, my skills improved and I ended up re-doing nearly everything in the game several times. It was important to me to not only create the game I had been dreaming about, but also to make a great first impression. As a one-man team, I felt personally responsible for every aspect of the game, so I spent a lot of time fussing over everything, as well as releasing numerous patches and content updates after the initial launch. I hope that my attention to detail shines through in the final product. I am thrilled to see Stardew Valley come to PS4. Bringing the game to PS4 opens the Stardew Valley experience to so many new people, and I can’t wait to hear about everyone’s experience with the game. I hope you enjoy your time in the valley!     I’m thrilled to announce today that Elite Dangerous is coming to PS4. In Elite Dangerous, every star in our night sky — the whole Milky Way — is there for you to visit. Fight, bounty-hunt, trade, assassinate, mine, and explore your way across human space and out into the immense galaxy beyond, flying with your friends or travelling alone. Elite Dangerous has been a wonderful project to be involved with, made by a great team here at Frontier. Its roots go all the way back to my first commercial game, Elite, first released in 1984 with Ian Bell, while we were both at university. Two sequels followed. Over thirty years later, Elite Dangerous is a huge step forwards from those games, but the principles are the same — do what you like and live life in an immense galaxy — and today you can play with (Or against!) friends and our amazing community as you travel the galaxy alone, together in a “wing,†or even fly aboard the same ship. It’s great to come to PlayStation. When Elite Dangerous arrives on PS4 next year, we’re bringing the full game with everything in our Horizons season of expansions included, so not only can you fly your ship, but you can carry an SRV (Surface Recon Vehicle) in your hold, and charge around the surfaces of planets and moons at up to 100mph, finding materials, attacking bases, or seeking out hidden secrets with your friends. When you progress far enough into the game to buy one of the larger ships, you might choose to carry a ship-launched fighter to help defend yourself; you can employ crew or even allow other players to help you pilot your larger ship. Craft special weapons with the Engineers, collaborate with the community, and engage in massive-scale community goals. Elite Dangerous is a game you’ll play your way. Elite Dangerous does not follow many of the rules of other games. It lets you move as fast or as slowly as you like, without telling you what to do or how to do it. Play purely as a sandbox — exploring and looking for some of the many mysteries within the game — or follow missions and work with other players to re-shape humanity’s control over the galaxy as you make your way to Elite status in any or all four categories in the game — Combat, Trade, Exploration, and CQC. We’ve worked hard to make Elite Dangerous the richest space simulation ever. From our love of science and astronomy, the galaxy is as real as we can make it. You’ll look up at the night sky in our own Solar system and you’ll recognise familiar constellations, then see them change as you travel away from Earth. Visit real white dwarfs, neutron stars, even black holes that exist in our real night sky. Every distance, orbit, planet, moon, ring, and crater is as real as we could make it, with some 160,000 stars in the game taken from real star catalogues, with the rest of the 400 billion stars coming from stellar density maps to make the whole galaxy as accurate as possible. It’s a huge, real galaxy you can leave your mark on. The galaxy is gradually evolving as players overthrow governments, align themselves with powers in the game, play with one of the giant like-minded player groups, or simply strive to discover something new. Two giant superpowers are on the edge of war, and there are hints of a nascent alien threat that may emerge as a quite real one any time now… We’re excited to let PS4 players jump aboard at this critical moment for our galaxy! We’re making full use of the PS4 and the unique features of PS4 Pro to deliver an experience unlike any other on the console, with features tailored to the DualShock 4, whether you’re down on the surface of a planet or cruising around a stellar system, connected with your friends or meeting strangers out in the black of space.     Divide is a journey. I’m not just talking about our game’s protagonist, but also our experience after a four year adventure as a new indie game developer. Finally, we are ready to release Divide on January 31, 2017. Yeah, that’s an official date! At PlayStation Experience 2016, we got to meet a lot of new potential players. One of the things we couldn’t help talk with them about was tone, and its importance in telling a story. Balancing a story full of peril with moments of levity and emotion is always a challenge, but it’s especially difficult in games because the player often dictates the moment to moment action and pacing. How do we let the story persist during gameplay and react to or complement the player’s own style of play? That has always been the kind of challenges we yearn to solve. Divide has always been about an ordinary person being thrown into extraordinary circumstances. You play as David, a father who is ripped away from his daughter and the security of his familiar life. He suddenly finds himself in a strange new world that challenges the very foundation of what he thought was real. Believe it or not, that’s the easy part. As a player, you experience this with most games. What is the setting? What are the dangers? How do I interact with the world? But with Divide, we strived to make sure the gameplay never betrays the story. For instance, gamers at PlayStation Experience often asked us if Divide is a stealth action game. Well, it can be. But David isn’t a commando. He’s a widowed father and professional turned homemaker. So, while Divide has combat, our hero starts out rather ill-equipped against seasoned para-military agents and armed security robots. The player may feel at home in action and combat or want to avoid it entirely. Regardless, David’s emotions don’t disable for combat and re-enable when it’s time to reflect on things as though it never happened. So Divide is not a stealth action game. In fact, we consider it more of a lonely sci-fi dungeon crawl. Primarily, Divide is concerned with exploration, mystery, and uncertainty. David experiences the interactive aspect of the world through digital contact lenses that expose an augmented reality veneer over the environment. With this level of magical technology it was easy to imagine that dialog with companion characters could occur remotely on some sort of radio channel. But we wanted the player to feel alone. That’s how David feels in the story. So we decided that Eris, our hero’s reluctant tag-a-long, abandoned the networked world long ago and refuses to wear such lenses herself. Because of this, David spends large portions of the game in isolation, returning to interact in person with Eris whenever things become too lonely. In general, the game progresses in a similar fashion to retro non-linear exploration games. We were often told at PSX that Divide reminded them of Syndicate, Flashback, Another World, Shadowrun… all comparisons that we feel are pretty on the mark concerning our own gaming influences. And it was a real treat to hear people appreciate a return to this style of gaming. PSX turned out to be a fantastic experience for us. We are so grateful for all the insightful, candid gameplay we witnessed. You, the players; your reactions to our game made it all worthwhile, and we can’t wait to make David’s entire story available for you to experience this winter. We’re particularly proud of the work that our partners at Abstraction Games have done with Ark on PS4, as the game looks beautiful and also gains substantial performance benefits from the PS4 Pro. Ark’s going to receive a great many updates on PS4 between today and its ultimate “content complete†point next Spring, and beyond that we will continue to add many more creatures, items, and game mechanics. Please keep in mind that by joining Ark, you’re joining a work-in-progress game with a passionate community of players, and true to its namesake the game will continue to “Evolve†over its long lifetime. In the weeks and months ahead you can expect some dramatic new additions to the Ark, including a complete redesign and expansion of the underground cave systems; a whole new Tek Tier of weapons, structures and items; an expanded menagerie of wondrous creatures; further increased game performance and optimization; per-pixel canvas painting; infinite customizable Procedurally Generated Arks; new systems such as hair customization and the “Ascension†end-game cycle; and limited-time holiday events & cosmetics. One feature we’re particularly excited to bring to PS4 players early next year is the concept of player-run, PC-hosted dedicated servers for PS4 users to play on. These servers will have higher maximum player counts and lots of customizable settings, for hardcore server administrators to tune everything to their liking. We’re working on it, and it’s looking promising! Something that I love about Ark is there are so many ways to play it. If you’re looking for hardcore, large-scale PvP, persistent online Survival warfare, Ark has plenty of servers geared specifically towards that play type. If you’re interested in more of a peaceful PvE constructive experience, there are servers and detailed game systems for that, too. If you just want to play in single-player or split-screen local multiplayer with your couched family, Ark has an option for that; or if you want to play a non-dedicated private session with just your close PSN Friends, Ark’s got you covered. Or if you shun all modern technology and just want to “live-off-the-land†with primitive tools, Ark has several game modes oriented towards that as well. Even though we’re a relatively small team at Wildcard, we’ve tried to provide “something for everyone†in Ark, because we know that every gamer has their own preferences. Finally, I should mention: please be nice and courteous to your fellow Survivors! Unless, of course, you intend to knock them out, shackle them in a cage, and play loud Britney Spears music over voice chat until your captive eats poop to sicken themselves to death.     We’re proud to release a new update, a limited time anniversary gift for everyone, and more for our free-to-play action strategy game Guns Up! As you may know, this December will mark the 1 year anniversary of the game’s public launch! It’s been a great year with more than 1.5 million players since launch. We’ve continued adding new features and content with the help of our wonderful community, so thanks again to all of you for helping improve the game. If it’s been awhile or you’ve never even tried Guns Up, now is the perfect time. In celebration of this past year, we want to highlight many of the additions to Guns Up, from new Units, Perks, and Card Packs, to the introduction of the Scheduled Special Drops system, Defend Replays, and Stat Boosting Hats. Going forward, we intend to keep up this momentum by continually bringing new and exciting content to the game.     Hi Sniper Elite fans! My name’s Colin and I’m the narrative designer on Sniper Elite 4, which is now just two months away — not long at all. It’s been a pleasure working on this game. We have a great team, a unique series, and loyal fans to boot. But for me it’s the setting that’s closest to my heart. Today we’ve released the first in a series of special SOE Intel briefings, showing why Italy in 1943 is such an interesting theatre in World War II. The Italian campaign offers myriad tales of heroism, sacrifice, subterfuge and intrigue to draw upon, with multiple factions fighting to survive in a country under Fascist rule. If you’re after more details on what to expect from covert agent Karl Fairburne’s foray into the Mediterranean, give the video a watch. Hungry for more? Allow me to set the scene. It’s 1943. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill meet in Casablanca to discuss the Allies’ next step. The Americans favor pushing across the Channel, through France, to attack Germany’s industrial areas. By contrast, Churchill argues an invasion of Italy will allow the Allies to attack the Nazis’ “soft underbelly†and take the pressure off the Red Army in the East. Churchill’s view prevails. This is where Sniper Elite 4 begins. Ahead of the planned invasion of Italy, the Allies have intelligence concerning Hitler’s latest wunderwaffe (wonder weapon) and dispatch Lieutenant Karl Fairburne to a secluded Italian island to investigate. Subsequent assignments take him from a beautiful coastal village on the Italian mainland to a vast, verdant forest region surrounding a viaduct. And of course, we’ve designed the game so you can take advantage of the spectacular scenery. Choose to climb up high for the perfect vantage point from which to snipe your adversaries, or look for a secret tunnel to enable your surprise attack, whatever it takes to complete your mission. With maps at least three times bigger than those of Sniper Elite 3, there are so many options available to you, and so much for you to feast your eyes on. Many of Sniper Elite 4’s stunning environments draw from actual locations and real wartime events. In fact, the real-life stories of World War II have always provided inspiration for the Sniper Elite series, from the nuclear science of the original, to V2 rockets and the imposing Ratte Tank in Sniper Elite 3. Sniper Elite 4 is similarly inspired by real-life stories. But because the scope and scale of Sniper Elite 4 is that much bigger, we’ve been able to deepen and expand Karl’s narrative and the stories of those he encounters. And Italy 1943 is the perfect place to do so. In Sniper Elite 4, Karl is plunged into a country that’s been under the yoke of Mussolini’s Fascism for more than two decades. Political opposition to the regime was either crushed early on or escaped abroad. Now, though, discontent is growing. The populace has grown weary of the war and numerous military defeats. Hunger is widespread, diseases like typhus are increasingly prevalent, and the Allied bombing campaign continues unabated. Strikes in the north temporarily cripple war production and civil unrest begins to stir. And amidst it all, Hitler’s Nazis remain Mussolini’s “honored guests.†Operating just ahead of the Allied advance, Karl must neutralise key targets, carrying out missions for the British Special Operations Executive (SOE), the American Office of Strategic Services (OSS), and Italian Resistance. As well as coming into contact with Allied operatives and Partisan fighters, he’ll encounter Italian troops, Fascist Black Brigade fighters, and even the Mafia — not to mention hordes of Nazi troops. The individuals in these factions have their own stories and agendas. But because Sniper Elite always has been about player choice, it’s up to you the extent to which you want to delve into these stories. Prior to carrying out your mission, you can choose to talk to individuals from some of the factions, or head straight into the thick of the action. A stealthy approach in the midst of your mission might enable you to hear strategically useful conversations, or you can use your binoculars to access Allied Intel on individual troops. Searching a body might give you ammunition or a medikit, but it might also give you a document that contains tactical information or perhaps a fragment of a story (and sometimes both). Other documents are littered around the environment, some telling self-contained stories, others elaborating the narratives of the main characters. Information like that might affect whether you choose to fight alongside the resistance — or whether you use the distraction they’re offering to get straight to your objective. It’s up to you.     Few creators enjoy so respected a status as Fumito Ueda. He has served as director on two titles: ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. They are magical adventures, tapping into the wellspring of wonderment that lives in us all. Both forever have a place in PlayStation’s proud history. When I reintroduced The Last Guardian at E3 2015, I was genuinely moved by the passion of that audience. Few experiences compare to hearing fans rejoice an unexpected light at the end of a very long tunnel. Much like that of the boy and his fantastical companion Trico, this has been a tremendous journey. It’s a rare feat in our industry to endure nearly a decade in development. Many amazing people have contributed along the way, all of them believing—as you, our amazing fans, do—in Ueda-san and his singular, exacting vision. The wait, at last, is over.     About a year ago, we announced our MOBA Paragon at PlayStation Experience. Our goal: work with you to make Paragon the most immersive and competitive MOBA out there. Through Early Access in March and Open Beta in August, we’ve updated the game every week and released a new Hero #EveryThreeWeeks. This week, after a year of feedback, datas and learnings, we’re releasing our biggest update to Paragon yet. It’s called the Monolith Update. You can download it tomorrow on Dec. 6 and play it… free. (Because we’re a free game.) Here’s the TL;DR: Faster, more action-oriented gameplay, but still a MOBA. New, compact map. Every Hero updated. Changes to armor/damage. Over 100 updates to cards. See all of the Monolith update in action for the first time below. For Monolith, we want to more solidly deliver on the promise of what we felt Paragon should be. To that end, we’ve turned it up a notch. Gameplay is faster. Specifically, we’re talking about faster movement speed, ability and attack execution speed, and overall game lethality. We feel this direction will help Paragon truly achieve the goal we’ve always had: The MOBA that puts you in the action. We’ve removed Travel Mode in favor of that increased base movement speed. Once mastered, the new, faster move speeds will prove easier for players to understand in terms of which engagement ranges are safe and which are likely to land them with a free timeout. We’ve created an entirely new map called Monolith that will become the primary competitive experience for Paragon. It’s about 30 percent smaller than the current map, which we now call “Legacy.†While Legacy is symmetrical, the new map is asymmetrical. This layout, shown below, allows us to create clearer roles for Heroes and defines places for those Heroes. We also want our lanes to be more dynamic, awesome places filled with drama, conflict, big plays, and skilled saves. We think the smaller map with defined spaces and increased movement speeds will help us achieve our goals. In the Monolith update, we’ve also reworked damage types to allow you to better itemize armor against incoming damage. Primary attacks will now deal “Basic†damage, while any activatable power will now deal “Ability†damage. This is an important change that lets us get a much better handle on how ability-focused Heroes scale in relation to attacking Heroes. This change carries over to armor and penetration, where Basic Armor will help defend against sustained primary attacks and Ability Armor will help defend against incoming spells. The concept of “Physical†and “Energy†Heroes has been removed and all players will now equip cards with a unified “Power†stat to increase their basic attacks and abilities. Players who buy Power will see that stat build into a percentage of all their outgoing damage, regardless of whether the damage comes from their basic attacks or their abilities. Buying damage as Gideon will increase your abilities considerably with a small bump to your basic attacks, while buying damage as Murdock will primarily increase your basic attacks. Down the road we’ll be looking at adding cards which might allow for increasing only ability damage or doing cool things to your basic attacks. With all of this, it should come as no surprise that we’ve rebalanced every Hero in the game with an eye toward both faster speeds and faster kill times. Ranges for most abilities have been reduced, while timings of most activation animations have been sped up across the board. Movespeed buffs and slows have likewise all been adjusted to match the new movement speeds. We’ve also completely re-worked our Hero Twinblast to make him more lethal and fun on the new map. Those are big pieces, but there are even more changes and adjustments in the Monolith update like the removal of cards with cooldown reduction and an increased emphasis on managing your mana.
