Commander Fury

Having spend several hours with a pre-release version of Destiny on PS4, my sense is that Bungie’s vision is no less than a complete rethink of how multiplayer shooters work. Destiny is a deconstruction and reconstruction of a genre that has languished in sterile matchmaking lobbies for far too long. More...

I've seen my share of challenging games, and I loved a whole lot of them. And honestly speaking, I could never put up with so many people that quit playing them early. But I've come around full circle to the point where I don’t see their impatience as a shortcoming anymore. There's room for improvement in game design. And I believe that the team behind Lords of the Fallen on PS4 is after something that will narrow the gap between mainstream and core players. One bit at a time, that is. More...

Hey Blacklight: Retribution fans, Zombie Studios is releasing the Seaport map today on PS4! Seaport is designed to bring players into the fight quickly with two major avenues of attack. If you find yourself pinned down, plenty of smaller side paths and routes cut through the port's warehouses. Good use of HRV is critical, since the opposition can take you by surprise quickly if you let your guard down -- watch your teammates' backs. More...

Watch_Dogs will rewire the way open-world games are played. A near-future Chicago, teeming with criminal intent, serves as a playground, weapon, and resource in one interconnected latticework of data. And at the heart of it all stands Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker with a painful history. Within the first few hours of Watch_Dogs on PS4, Aiden's story of revenge has enough potential to match the anticipation the gaming community has leveled at it. More...

In October's PlayStation.Blog entry, we welcomed you to Starlight Inception, the first-person / third-person space combat experience coming to PS Vita today. This is the first game of its type on Vita, containing a single-player campaign, single-player Fly Patrol (tower defense), and several multiplayer options. The game will have a retail price on PS Vita of $22.99. More...
