Clan Name Weapon Decals

Now this is exciting. Some of you may have spotted the smiley-faced red dot sight. Some may have even seen the potentially custom smiley decal on the side of the gun at 00:11. But how many of you spotted the clan name on the gun itself? It’s so in your face, we almost missed it. Check at around 1:01; on the horizontal stock widget on top of the barrel, you’ll see the letters TMKS scratched into the gun, just below your team-mate (MatTKS) running ahead of you. How awesome is that?

Although they might by the time the game comes out. The Callsigns’ total lack of title may mean something else – which incidentally, sits quite nicely with Treyarch’s user-generated content credos – that the titles may be able to be written by the users themselves? So long as it has the world’s most expensive, meta-complex swear-filter, this could be brilliant.

The fly-by-wire missile seen in the trailer – which is launched down a corridor, smashes through some plate glass, then annihilates a sniper – is none other than the catchily named BGM-71 TOW. Not at all a mouthful during fitful comms chatter; “Look out, there’s a BGM-7 … oh, you died …” Most likely to be dubbed the TOW (Toe) by players then, its name stands for Tube-launched Optically-tracked, Wire data link guided missile.
