Metal Gear Solid: Rising Gets Amazing TGS Demo Video

GT’s posted up the gameplay tech demo of Metal Gear Solid: Rising, shown at this morning’s Microsoft TGS keynote.

 

Producer Shigenobu Matsuyama and director Minesh Kimura took to the stage to demo the game live for the first time ever, showing Raiden cutting items like watermelons and bowling pins from all angles.

 

It really does look awesome.

 

Rising, a Ninja Gaiden-like hack and slash title, takes place as a sequel to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty as well as a prequel to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

 

No date yet for it, but it’ll release on PS3, 360 and PC.
