wanting to bring my clan to this community for honest game play

Hello all I am one of the leaders of (AES) Army of Elite Seals. A clan that has been together for nearly 6 years. We are a tight nit group who prides themselves on honest game play. We joined the socom ladder only to find out that the top 15 teams will do anything to get the win even if it means using lag switches and glitches to get the win and do not have the nuts to win or lose like a man. I personally have been wanting us to join UF for some time now because I know many people from 4 or 5 of the clans here in the UF and know that this is a place where people play straight. I just need to ask some questions to bring back more info to my clan.

 

1. Are there any active tournaments going on for socom ?

 

2. How often are friendly wars scheduled between clans here in the Uf ?

 

3. How often do you offer "Hell Week" for the Socom side of this community ?

 

4. Is it still you must win one war within "Hell Week" to earn your spot here within the UF ?

Welcome to Urgent Fury AES sounds like a solid clan which has the potential to fit right in here at Urgent Fury. Unfortunately the Socom side of things are pretty slow right now. That should change as Socom 4 comes out. There is some Socom activity on the UFGL that you might want to check out. Other than that I'll defer to a more official response.

by no means is this answer authoritative, but here we go:

 

1) no active tourneys for socom, other than the new UFGL ladders. The ladders were being tested

and the accounts / stats are about to be reset so I wouldn't rush in there just yet but I believe they

will be ready after the weekend...

 

2) depends on the clans and their contacts. you can always post up something in the forums if you

looking for a war OR use the UFGL ladders once operational.

 

3) I think hell week is no more, rather your clan will be allowed to participate in a black? tourney

and this acts as your hell week. assuming you follow the rules you are then allowed into UF and

can play the bigger tourneys like tacmap

As some of our Rangers have alluded to, we are currently supporting Socom on the ladder side, and I can't divulge too much right now, but Socom Confrontation will continue to have things released for it via UF up until the drop of Socom 4.

 

We also use the Ladders as a proving ground now instead of the Hell Week, so you will be facing clans that have Eval members on the actual war teams, and they have places to report any funny business. Always happy to see more clans stepping over the UF way, and we will see you on the battle field!

Yes.. Socom Confrontation is not finished at UF... stay tuned in the next few days for an announcement about that.. and i am not talking about the UFGL..

Everyone above has given you the right direction.

 

I can say, there will be an active Socom Tournament before the end of the year. Sign Ups will begin soon, so keep watching.

 

In the meantime, head over and begin gaming with some of our Socom clans.....we are performing some maintenance on our gaming site and it should be back up within a couple of days if not sooner. But all your clan members that will be on your roster will need to register to get on the teams you create.
