disfsk3x14 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Staff Posted January 23, 2011 Britt.. Posting clan recruitment threads are not allowed unless you are an accepted clan within Urgent Fury. I believe this is the second time you have posted this. Quote
Britt_Britt19 Posted January 23, 2011 Author Report Posted January 23, 2011 Oh ok sorry about that, I had just read the other post i had made last week, and saw the link to the application. This site is kinda confusing. I did fill out the app. Quote
disfsk3x14 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Staff Posted January 23, 2011 the application is for the tournament.. from what you said you only have 6 members. if you dont have enough to compete you would not be able to partcipate in Urgent Fury. the whole purpose of that application is when you have enough members to partcipate in Urgent Fury, you then can apply for the tournament. Till then you will have to try to recruit members and then possibly participate in Urgent Fury when your clan grows. Quote
Pillorian Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) Britt, hey just want to offer up a few recruiting tips for you guys so you can make the upcoming tournament. -When you play in a public lobby, be on the lookout for people. If you think they might not be interested, ask anyway. -Go to some websites on the internet that have large communities. Mostly everybody here at UF is already in a clan. I recommend going to the game's forums http://www.callofduty.com/board , places like http://www.hupitgaming.com , and others. You will have great success at places like that. Just make sure you come across as a nice and intelligent person whether you are talking to them ingame or on the internet! Good luck! Edited January 23, 2011 by Pillorian Quote
AC Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Britt, The UFGL site will be up in the next few days. You will be able to compete there until you can build your numbers. Quote
Britt_Britt19 Posted January 23, 2011 Author Report Posted January 23, 2011 Ok well, most of the players on tdm parties i go to are already in a clan, so isn't that the whole purpose of going onto a forum and let everyone know that your clan is recruiting? Then build up more members then participate in tourniments? Just asking. Quote

Most people who play in a public lobby either just run a clan tag (because they can) or they just play public lobbies with a group. Like I said, ask anyways. Tell them that you play in tournaments, that usually gets people excited to join. There really aren't that many "clans" like you see here at UF just wandering around in pubs. You will get many people who say no, but if you are diligent, you will find people. Edited January 23, 2011 by Pillorian Quote

Johnson30 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Or use your players met option on your PSN, send out messages people will respond. Quote
Pillorian Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Or use your players met option on your PSN, send out messages people will respond. That worked really well in MW2, but I have noticed that often people don't show up on there when you meet them in Black Ops... Quote
