Gears of War 3 Bundle Shipping with Real Life Retro Lancer

As if Cliff Bleszinski and the team behind gears of war can’t stop teasing players enough with their goodies….they’ve just announced another one. Epic Games has just posted pictures of what’s going to come with the $139.99 bundle of Gears of War 3……The Retro Lancer.

 

 

The Retro Lancer is the predecessor of the Lancer and it was used during the Pendulum Wars, right before Emergence day. In Jacinto’s Remnant (2nd Book), delta squads first run in with the locust* proved to be a difficult one because their bayonets were not piercing the skin of these creatures. Marcus almost died from struggling with a drone if it wasn’t for Tai Kaliso who separated the enemy with a buzzsaw. After the Incident Marcus gave word to his father to help create what we are now familiar with….the chainsaw bayonet.

 

 

The Retro Lancer is being produced by NECA, famous for their line of action figures from popular titles including GoW. It’s also going to be available for stand alone purchase, available 9/13. Gamestop is already taking pre-orders for the Bundle. (Priced at $139.99)
