Burnout Crash! Announced By EA — To Feature Kinect Compatibility

EA and Criterion Games have announced Burnout: Crash. The next installment in the Burnout series will be released on Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) and the PlayStation Network (PSN) later this fall. Crash! is taking the series back to its roots with the return of Crash-mode. New to Burnout will be the top-down style gameplay. Burnout Crash! will reward gamers for creating chaos.

 

The press release for Burnout Crash! asked readers a question then posed a simple answer, “Traffic got you down? Blow it up!” As a resident of Los Angeles I appreciate that. Burnout Crash sounds like the racing game for me.

 

 

 

Burnout Crash! will be a “crazy mix of pinball and game shows.” There will be three game modes, 18 crash junctions and six unique locations. It will also have Kinect compatible features which allows two teams to use motion controls to play on one television for a “party battle!” It will be the first EA title for XBLA to have Kinect features.
