SOCOM 4 Questions

Has anyone tried to create your own room yet? If so...

 

Is it ranked or unranked?

Is it classic or respawn? or can we customize the matches like we use to do with Confrontation?

Since there are no passwords, can anyone (the public) join the room or would it be friends only via following you from the friends list?

How many players are needed as a minimum to start a created room? 4 like the clan challenges?

Custom Rooms Are Unranked.....

 

You can create the Room using all available features, Classic & Respawn:

 

A Custom Room is joinable only by friends list:

 

As Far as I know you Need 8 Required players to start the room.... Also There isn't any time to actually pick what side you want to play on, It's just like joining a pub room.... lmao

So this looks like the way to go as far as setting up our Midnight Mass as opposed to the party system where it's by invite only to get into the room?

Yeah, alot of people are using Custom rooms for get together's & what not lmao

I think you can only play one game then you have to remake the room. Unless the changed something. We tried using it for practice for pre-war didn't work so well.

What really annoying is we aren't getting any update from zipper about the server issues. The only post Ive seen was the post on tuesday where dunham said that "The sony peeps that run our servers are looking at it".

 

Freaking ridiculous. Did they take the rest of the week off after the patch?

They laid-off all those people a few months ago. And some that were really important to the game. MAG was easy to fix because they had those people. That's why Sony has to look into it. My theory.

I'm pretty sure this is standard procedure as titles release- there are simply people you don't need on staff to support a title moving forward after release.

I didn't know they laid off people but I knew that one of the main SOCOM guys left to go start up his own company.

Yep they did. It was Travis Steiner he was the Lead Designer for Socom 4.
