LOST-THE GAME

Has anyone bought or rented the game? Any word on it....I bought it just have not gotten into it enough to make an eval.......your thoughts are appreciated.

i have read "it would be more fun to be actually stranded on the island then play this game" .. they also revied it on a show i caught on tv.. they also said it was pretty repetitive.. however die hard lost fans would enjoy .. i myself have yet to get a chance at gettin off the island..

I bought it because I'm a huge Lost fan but that game isn't worth a buy. I beat it fairly quickly because I cheated. I used an online walkthrough because there are some parts that piss you off when you can't figure it out plus those little timed sequence/math questions.......ugh....... The graphics are okay, the music/sound effects are great, story is okay (nice ending twist though...wonder if it has any relevance to the actual series). Most of the time you are just running around talking to characters or running away from the smoke monster. The dark cave levels pissed me off.

 

Overall, I'd give it a 5 out of 10 and that's JUST because I'm a fan. Otherwise I'd give it a 3. After you beat the game you really don't want to play through it again, there's no incentive to do so anyway, so it has 0 replay value. I'm selling my copy back to GameStop.

I get "lost" just watching the show, I dont think I would like the game much either.

Yea I agree with Sniper.....the game play is slow, those freakin math puzzle's seem to have no ryme or reason......they could have done alot more with the game..........yes I bought it and yes I feel dirty about it ;D
