I was actually at a friend's house all night playing this. I think it rocks. Looks great and it plays great. Can be really challenging, too. Thank god they took out face buttons! No more button spammers.

 

BTW: Try getting the trophy to beat Iron Mike or Ali on G.O.A.T... It's crazy

My controllers take a beating and my analog sticks aren't always at their best, making it even harder for me to throw the combination I have in mind. Call me old school... but I still use the up,down,left and right arrows whenever I can lol. Any game where I can use buttons over analog stick, I always use buttons. While some may view it as button spamming, I see it as what I'm used to. I've been playing Fight Nights since it first came out when it was called Knockout Kings. I'm a huge boxing fan and I love the game and how its evolved. I just wished they would have at least included several controller configuration options like they did in Round 3. If the game would have started with only analog stick movements, I wouldn't be posting about this now =)

 

Aside from that, game is just freaking AMAZING!

I played the demo, and was sold on it after the first fight, haven't picked up the full game yet though, hopefully soon.

 

 

Fight Night > Tiger
