Are multiple sigs a nuisance?

I've use to come on UF regularly on my mobile but now I stopped unless I am at a computer. It's the ads taking too long to load before that with animated sigs or two sigs a person I personally had no problem on my blackberry. I actually go to a Infiniti forum regularly and they have heavily animated sigs and I haven't had any problem.

In fact it loads slow on my computer. I don't come by these forums nearly as much as I used to. And that is the main reason.
