MADISON, Wis. — The online gun dealer who sold a weapon to the Virginia Tech shooter said it was an unnerving coincidence that he also sold handgun accessories to the man who killed five students at Northern Illinois University. Eric Thompson said his Web site, http://www.topglock.com, sold two empty 9 mm Glock magazines and a Glock holster to Steven Kazmierczak on Feb. 4, just 10 days before the 27-year-old opened fire in a classroom and killed five before committing suicide. Another Web site run by Thompson’s company, http://www.thegunstore.com, also sold a Walther .22-caliber handgun to Seung-Hui Cho, who killed 32 people in April on the Virginia Tech campus before killing himself. “I’m still blown away by the coincidences,†Thompson said Friday. “I’m shaking. I can’t believe somebody would order from us again and do this.†His company, TGSCOM Inc., based in Green Bay, shipped the order Monday, and records of the sale provided to The Associated Press by Thompson show Kazmierczak received the order Tuesday. Kazmierczak carried a shotgun and three handguns into the classroom Thursday. Thompson said he had no idea whether the shooter used the holster or magazines purchased on the Web site. Each magazine can hold 33 bullets, Thompson said. He said his site did not sell Kazmierczak any bullets or guns. Kazmierczak bought two of the weapons used in the shooting — the pump-action Remington shotgun and a Glock 9mm handgun — legally on Feb. 9 in Champaign, Ill., where he was a student, authorities said. Thompson said he checked his sales records after the name of the shooter was made public Friday. The records show $105.62 in items were shipped to an apartment in Champaign and signed for by someone other than Kazmierczak. Thompson said he contacted the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives within five minutes of realizing the latest connection Friday morning. The Glock Web site is well-known among gun users on the Internet, so it is not surprising that someone looking for accessories for a Glock would find it, Thompson said. But being tied to both of the shootings is “unnerving,†he said. “I still feel just absolutely in shock,†he said. “I feel like I was run over by a truck.†Thompson said he has no way of knowing whether Kazmierczak found out about his Web site from the publicity it got after the Virginia Tech shootings, but the thought crossed his mind. Web traffic increased after that shooting, along with phone calls and threats, he said. It was not clear whether one site linked to the other.

Snake Dr.....I could SWEAR somewhere on this forum I read that you were a cop of some sort. Are you REALLY giving that as advice? I don't know....maybe I'm missing something here, but I would think that confronting HER is a viable (maybe) avenue to take....but confronting HIM? It's none of Junk's business. If she's a friend, fine. But the shitbag boyfriend? HE is none of Junk's business. I'm not real sure what point you're trying to make here, but me being a cop has nothing to do with me protecting my friends. If I had a close female friend that was dating some shitbag that treated her like she was nothing I would absolutely step in and protect her. If that meant convincing him that it was time for him to move on then so be it. And I would do that even if I weren't a cop. I think I know where you were going with this now and I think you may have read to much into my advice. I wasn't suggesting he get physical with the guy or that he do something illegal. He can convince him simply by talking with him. I don't know about you guys and your friends, but my friends are part of my family. I will step up and protect them any time and any where. And if that means I have to apologize to them for interferring in their business then so be it. Maybe I'm the only one here that's like that? If so then I wont expect anyone to understand. But I decided long ago that I'd rather have a small number of super close friends than to have a large number of acquaintance's.

No. You can bet everything you have on the fact that if someone were to say those "flag" words the Secret Service would be paying them a visit. They'll be there a lot quicker if someone uses those "flag" words over the phone or in an email.

I've been called worse so I guess its no big deal. Â I just wanted to know if you were making this personal. Â Because if you are, well then this goes to a whole new level. Â But since you've been so gracious as to leave the decision up to me, I'll look at it as a general statement regarding your love for this country and the multitude of freedoms it has to offer.

So is continually saying "BIATCH" an inside joke that those who know you better will get or are you referring directly to me?

If she's close enough not to get mad at you for voicing your opinion then do so. You could always confront him and convince him to get lost.

Correct. However, you are not allowed to yell fire in a crowded building, you're not allowed to make threats of violence, you're not allowed to make bomb threats, you're not allowed to just start talking during court, and you're not allowed to say that you want to bring harm to the President of the United States of America. Arent these all freedoms of speech covered under our 1st Amendment?

I havent been able to find an actual site for these yet. I'm still looking though.

Trust in the fact that YOU are not the reason I get it. And since you and your groupies are stuck in one dimension when it comes to cops there's no use in trying to explain to you how or why I get it. I'll just continue replying in all threads involving the police, with reminders and insight about good cops, how there are many more good cops than bad cops, and how those who think they can do whatever they want to do or say whatever they want to say have sadly misinterpreted their rights. I hope your hatred serves you well.

I was sleeping, which is where I'm headed now, and I didnt check the forums before I went to work last night. Based on what I've seen, heard, and read from my local media, which is a lot since my locals are out of Tampa, she'll be getting into some serious trouble. Sorry you guys waited so long for a response from me. And sorry its not more entertaining for you. But, I've said several times that good cops hate bad cops more than you do. In the end she and those who allowed it to happen will get whats coming to them. BTW - I hope the highlights of your days arent geared around getting a rise out of someone on a gaming forum or waiting for a reply to some video of a bad cop so that you can further your point about cops. I think we've all gotten it by now. You or those you know have been wronged by a cop. You'll never trust another cop. Cops are ignorant, power hungry, abusive, pieces of shit. We get it. Have a great day. ;D

Right now proper training means you pass a class. Those who are allowed to carry concealed need to be required to pass a bi-annual qualification test to maintain their permits. And they need to complete a class that informs them of the potential liabilities involved everytime they draw their weapon.
