  1. Great pics. Nice looking graphics. Lets hope the game lives up to the hype. We've been teased in the past only to be let down.
  2. Thank you.
  3. Now I have noticed since the update that about nightly when I turn on my PS3 I have trouble signing in. I have to reboot my modem, and everything is fine. Do you by chance check and see if you're computer has a solid connection befoe rebooting your modem? I always check that first and so far my computer has had a solid connection while my PS3 is saying theres a connection problem check your connection. Its almost like the update is causing the connection issue. At least for me. And I'm getting disconnected more now than I ever have before, on all my games.
  4. LOL Thats the Screech Video. Nice.
  5. That could be a fear right there. You could call it repeatusphobia. The fear of repeated threads. ;D
  6. Is this the same update that brought the changes for COD4? If so, is anyone else been getting the boot more since the download? I keep getting a connection error with the suggestion of checking my internet connection all the while my internet connection is doing just fine. Wasnt sure if it was just me or if anyone else was experincing it as well.
  7. Chili.......... Thats taken in your bedroom right?? She's getting ready to autograph it for you without using her hands right??
  8. I have to agree. Craig was a good replacement for Brosnan who I also thought played an excellent Bond. I hope they're able to continue with the high impact action scenes they had in Casion Royale. It was one of my first Blu-Ray discs too. Looks real good in Blu-Ray.
  9. The ability for clans to choose which SPECOPS unit they represent creates numerous possibilities for "scenarios" involving joint missions. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
  10. So as a mid 30's husband and father here's my 2 cents worth: We are the ones to blame for this. Laziness is the biggest driving force behind the greatest inventions of the 20th century. Every convenience we have today is because someone wondered what could be done to make it easier. See, being too smart and too innovative can be a bad thing as well. Maybe you've heard the saying, "To smart for your own good"? You cant have good with out bad. No one took the time to think about what bad could come from the goods that have been created. That my friend is the fault of your parents and parents like them. Parents who allow their kids to function everyday with no repsect for themselves or others are parents who either A) told themselves that when they had kids they weren't going to be as hard on their kids as their parents were on them (we remember those days right); were products of the generation hit by the mass divorce epidemic and so grew up without one or both of their parents so they have nothing to draw on, nothing to refer to when it comes to being a good parent; or C) fall into that category of people who should have never been aloud to reproduce in the first place subsequently producing offspring who are wards of the state either in the criminal juvenile system, the foster care system, or both. Leaving them to be taken care of by you and I along with our own families. The majority is dangerously close to shifting to the other side. It wont be long. The cycle will repeat itself and when it does the majority being the decent will become the minority. Social decay seems to be inevitable. Unless we do something now. They don't know any better because their parents failed to teach them. As stated and eluded to so many times before in this thread many parents of this generation of kids have turned to TV's, Video Games, Portable Video Games, Cell Phones, etc to quite their kids. Like giving a crying baby its pacifier so you can get that extra few minutes of sleep instead of dealing with the issue at hand when it presents itself. They have no clue what it takes to be a parent. And ironically enough, its mentioned earlier on this thread too, there is so much information available today online. How hard is it to look up articles and information on how to be a good parent? Any idiot can help produce a baby. It takes a true mature person to be a parent. Our job as parents is to put forth intelligent productive men and women into our society. Ones who will help lead us in any way they can by drawing on their experiences and lessons taught by us the parents. Some parents are just disconnected when it comes to knowing what they are supposed to be doing. Contributing is relative. And what you spend your money on is your business. But keep in mind that money is what keeps this country functioning and a world power. Some might even say MONEY = POWER. If your money looses its value then its looses its power. If things keep going the way they are the Dollar wont be worth anything valuable enough to help the USA stay a world power. Are we close to becoming a 2nd world nation? Who knows? Not many will notice anyway. Unless of course the information were to be broadcast over the internet, text messaged, posted in some online store, written on the load up screen of a video game, or printed on our virtual newspapers delivered to our virtual homes in our virtual worlds. In the end it will always come down to less talk and more action.
  11. I knew someone in here had to remember those.
  12. I can understand that. Of course in this situation it was actually Derek Jeteres idea. Billy Crystal had made mention that he was trying to find something special to do for his 60th birthday party. So they let him sign a one day contract. And if heard correctly, he compensated the guy who normally wears #60.
  13. Come on Chili its just like those Rockwood and Kenford speakers from back in the day. You remember those right?? You used to be able to get them at big blow out sales at your local fair grounds for like a couple hundred dollars. Â
  14. Kind of like a garage sale huh?? ;D Getting rid of the things you have no use for anymore.
  15. I've never been happier to be a season ticket holder than right now. With Dunn back, the free agents we've picked up, and hopefully the guys we get in the draft, I think we have a larger than average shot at the big dance next February in Tampa. http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=0bfd6938-3d10-422e-837f-ebc667a24972
  16. What?? The Corey's had big careers. You didn't see the reality show they did together where Corey moved in with Corey? And don't you remember all the greatly written movies they did together after the Lost Boys movie?   ;D Like the one with Nicole Eggert where they both liked her and they got her to get naked. GGGRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! This movie taught me to never ever invite anyone into my house. That way I never had to worry about vampires in my closet or under my bed. And, it taught me to carry holy water and garlic on me at all times. I felt much safer after I saw Lost Boys.  Any chance the originals will have cameo appearance??
  17. Hope the pitcher wasnt trying to lock up a spot on the roster.
  18. Looked to me like he's got a good eye for the ball too. He got a good rip down the first base line. To bad it went foul. They said the Pirate pitcher was going to pitch to him like he would any other batter. Can you imagine what was going through his head after throwing 2 balls and then Billy ripping a solid hit that went just foul? If he gets on base the pitcher doesnt live that down.   A 59 year old getting a hit off of a MLB pitcher. Â
  19. How cool would this be? Getting to bat for the pro team you've followed since you were a kid. This is an absolute dream of a lifetime and he didnt do to bad either. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/mlb_experts/post/The-mighty-Billy-Crystal-has-struck-out?urn=mlb,71560
  20. The triple buildings you're referring to between building north and rooftop north are accessible by using the dumpster, if you can survive long enough to get to it. Stand on the dumpster, get close to the wall, look up at the window, step just right of center, and jump. If you do it right you'll get a climb over icon. If you don't get that icon then you'll have to get off the dumpster and try it over again. You may also try having your pistol out when you jump. Be careful where you step though. If you fall into the courtyard in the center of the three buildings you'll die. Maybe we can get some type of thread put together that denotes all the places one might thing are glitch spots that are actually legit. This way we know and don't come out accusing others of glitching unfairly.
  21. So at first I thought this was ridiculous, but then I watched him telling his side story on the Golf Channel. I dont think he meant to kill the bird at all. But, should he be held accountable for his actions?
  22. http://us.i1.yimg.com/videogames.yahoo.com/feature/red-ring-of-failure/1192354
  23. When I play there's all kinds of contact. Contact between my driver and ALOT of the ground. Contact between my irons and ALOT of the ground. Contact between my, you guessed it, putter and ALOT of the ground. (not the green though....I respect the green) Contact between my cart and certain stationary objects. (usually due to goofing off and drinking to much) Contact between my ball and the trees, bushes, and water. Contact between my fist and the shoulder of the guy who JUST HAD TO beat my bogey on the hole and steal my thunder. ;D
  24. Oh yeah. You get to high and you run the risk of missing when she bends over for her next sandwich. Theres nothing more embarrassing than over shooting your girl. It also depends on what type of knot you tie on your safety line. Me being a former Boy Scout I like using the larks head knot on some heavy duty rope. And, much like a skydiver checks his own chute, I tie my own knots. I feel safer that way. ;D
  25. For cow tipping ..lol uhhh, I live in Missouri. I think I top ya... Same here, but have yet to tip any moo-moo's. Unless were talking big girls........LOL We call that hogging Yes we do. And its tough to tip them big girls. You got to get them distracted with like 5 Hot Ham and Cheese's from Hardees then get a running start and make sure you stay low. Â
