  1. lol thnx guys, again sorry for it being so long but its put together as a collective feeling of 10-12 members who are very bummed out right now. What sucks the most is that Last was one of the most well liked members of the clan...so well liked infact that it was damn hard to even have voted on him being removed. We wish he could have known our feelings on him in the short time before he got kicked..even thou a single one of his actions got us removed from UF, no1 felt any real resentment and still wanted to be friends with him..heh imagine tht eh?. I guess his upbeat nature and enthusiasm makes it friggin hard to not like him once u get to know him i guess like i said..it's a sad time for all of us
  2. if anyone here could read the thread called "Sad story about leaving UF" id appreciate it
  3. Sorry this is so long..I hope you all read it, even if you do in small steps, as people here deserve to know. Hello everyone, theres a few things I wanted to share with everyone, and it's a bit of a sad story but there's a few reasons I feel it should be stated. The admins can do with this thread what they want, but most importantly I feel there are many good people in this tournament that deserve to know about things that have been going on. For all the great people involved in UF, and for the hard work, effort, and dedication they put in, I feel it should at least be said to show that that very thing they work hard for ISN'T or HASN'T been spat on like some would believe. There is now a lone person on these forums who has betrayed his own friends..and is currently misleading many people here. I'm clearing up the truth and also to point him out so more people don't get mislead in the future. And trust me..I feel there really ARE some great people involved at this community. I would know..we've met them and became friends with them. There was recently a big thing that went down with a clan you all know by now, which apparently tried to undermine UF and what they're trying to do here. Well, I'm here representing the position of the clan's original leadership and core founding members, which wish to clear up the record and show the truth on the negative things that happened. I think there are a lot of clans here that remember an 'iMr' from Socom, and those memories aren't good for a lot of people. After the huge misunderstanding that recently happened, the leadership of this clan is really saddened as the new 'iMr', with all new members and a rebuilt core belief system, was kicked out from participating in UF when it was, to them, the new big chance to show a new face and new era. Unfortunately, we are hurting the most as we were prevented from showing this turnaround all because of one rogue member, who not only did things behind our back which got us kicked but also spread more lies here amongst UF. It has so far been unable to show the real truth to the rest of the community as all members were immediately banned - except for that one rogue "cancerous" member. And like I said, this isn't a thread to plead for mercy or undo what has been done..the past is the past and we have accepted it, but rather this thread is to expose the truth. Many here have heard that iMr wished to someday run it's own league, which has been a longterm dream of the founding members ever since the clan's creation on Socom 1. Althought it is, and always has been, just a dream, a certain ex-member of the clan (xLASTx) was more enthusiastic about it and wanted to see it a reality. In his "official apology" thread which I recently heard of, some things he said are true..while others are not. Again..I'm here to clear up the truth to you all, and may you better be prepared for such situations in the future. What he said about being told to "gather some interest" among other clans is correct. However, iMr's leadship never (and WOULD NEVER) authorize the direct rule breaking of a tournament site and it's community. That direct action..which in the end got the entire clan removed..was in the wrong judgement and decision making of one single cancerous member, who went behind us all at a time when we wanted nothing but to prove to UF we were a new, organized, respectful, and dedicated clan. We feel very hurt because of what happened; not only did we get kicked out of a highly reputed competitive community, but we also were banned and prevented from at least explaining our true feelings - feelings which were positive and excited to finally be in and to be doing so well. We never meant to undermine UF or it's rules, and none of our members (those remaining) had any intention of trying to break any of them. We met a lot of friends in this tournament..well, the 3 weeks we were in it - you know who you are, if you're reading this, and even though we are out of UF, we are still glad we met the people we did in the time we were given. But most importantly..and the reason we are the most hurt..is that the very reason we are gone from UF - that one member, has been running rampant here using the situation against us, while we are unable to defend ourselves. It hurts us all to have tried so hard to make it and be betrayed by one person - no, not betrayed once, but continually..as far up as the most recent thread he made blaming his clan's leadership as using him as a scapegoat. Perhaps we should have known, or seen the signs, back when that small debate erupted between him and CTU (or COU?) clan..perhaps we should have known to remove him. If that's the case, then it's on us for not getting rid of someone who had potental to do something wrong again before it was too late..and now it IS too late. I guess at the end of the story, I just want everyone to know that things aren't always what they appear. While many members here responded to the whole situation shortly after with negative and heated opinions and the clan, and while those opinions hurt (at a time when we were dedicated to proving ourselves) in the end you have your right to your opinion, and iMr will not try to change anyone's opinion at this point. We felt being in UF was the chance to prove it, and because of one person, we lost that chance. I would just like for everyone to consider though that all our core members were dedicated since day 1, followed every rule, met other clans, were respectful to those we met, and tried to do our best. Our ex-coleader, Mainevent, went through endless hours of work and effort to get us involved in UF, especially at a time he was going through so much pain in his personal life, which details I won't go into here. If anything, look to the dedication Mainevent put in for all of us as a sign of the clan's dedication here. Please don't let the single action of one member (who has been removed from the clan since this incident happened) reflect the nature of all the rest of our members. Although being kicked was a huge blow to us all..and our beloved coleader and several other members have since quit the clan indefintely, we still extended our friendship to xLASTx even after his actions got us removed. But..after seeing his last thread which was a huge slap in the face to the people which were his friends, we are very very hurt to see him turn on us the way he did. Rules are rules..being kicked from a tournament means you got kicked because rules were broken, and shouldn't be taken as a personal attack. When a member of a clan is kicked...it is because he is kicked according to rules also..and we in iMr are shocked that he has personally turned on us in such a bad way. After all is said and done...we still don't know why Last is still here on these forums. Not only was he the lone member that broke a fatal rule, but is the one who has betrayed his own friends and could do so to people in the future. It hurts to even say these things about him, as we were friends at first even after kicking him..but it's the reality of the situation. Goodluck to all in UF, hope that perhaps someday iMr (if we continue to survive much longer after all of this - I doubt it) could come back to show things right.
