I think we need something a little stronger... LOL
  2. It seems Sarah, "don't cha know" Palin has been hangin out with a terrorist group of her own. Even gave a speech this year at one of their gatherings. Hmmm... this is going to get fun in the next few days. Between the transcripts of trooper gate being released tomorrow, where her hubby testified, to this story here gaining ground. Haha! http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/10/10/palin_chryson/
  3. I was kinda thinking the same thing.. grudge much. lol Now how about those issues for the time capsule.!! ;D Alright, I'll play. Like Hog though I'm not going to defend or comment on what I put up here. Under Obama admin: • Economy will recover. • Universal Health care; everyone will be able to afford it finally. • Minimum wage will finally be raised. • We will pull out of this unjust war in Iraq and redeploy some troops to Afghanistan. • He WILL find and kill Bin Laden • Incororate smart, clean and sophisticated energy polcies that will create new jobs that no one thought were possible. • Will create and mend relationship internationally and abroad. • Show REAL fiscal responsibility and bring our budget back to a surplus by second term. • Bring troops back here and fortify our borders and country from terrorist attacks. • Will bring poverty levels down to record lows. Under McCain admin: Four more years of the same! Nuff said.
  4. Please... with the voter fraud! You party has the corner market on that. Two elections, one where the dumb cowboy was elected by the supreme court!!! You have gull, I'll give you that. I think you are related to Rove somehow... LOL So is this going to be the next move? Now that it's looking more and more bleak for Johnny Mac, your side will just call foul on voters? LMFAO!!!
  5. LOL... well they better get used to it... cause like George Herbert Walker Bush or William Jefferson Clinton... they will be saying in our history books... Barrack Hussein Obama, POTUS number 44!!! LOL
  6. I thought you left this thread ? Politely ? LOL You of all people should know he can do nothing politely. Whether it's let a certain thread cool off before letting his ego get back into it or dragging around an old issue by the means of a certain little 200x500 little graphic that appears whenever he posts. I do however believe his quote... LOL! I'll just consider the source there. You guys should get a room? :-[
  7. Lets review what he said...and I quote: Perhaps Im missing something but that is what he said. Lets just say for the sake of arrgument that Mr. Barack Hussein Obama misspoke simalarly to when he claimed to have visited about "57 states" and he really ment 95% of those who pay taxes that would recieve a tax cut, reality would blow that away as well, because only 81.3% of those would be elligable, which is about 47.97% of Americans. But then lets add in the tax hikes to this mess. Regarding the claim that anyone who makes less than $250,000 won't see a tax hike under Obama, that is not entirely true. Tax Policy Center estimates actually show that some tax units earning under $250,000 would see a tax increase, due to the fact that Sen. Obama does raise corporate income taxes, and all taxes are paid by people. In addition, small businesses that would face a tax hike under Obama's plan to raise the top two marginal tax rates actually make up around half of small business income or about 500,000 small bussinesses. And I do remember the tax days of Clinton and NO I do not remember them fondly! I was a Manager of a small pizza joint in Phx, AZ our business went under because we could not pay payroll taxes. No matter what we did we were always behind at least 10 grand. There were even months that would go by that myself and a fellow manager would go with out pay because the tax man came a knocking. Nobody should have to go through that again! I'm not going to argue with you over what percent of who does and doesn't pay taxes. Bottom line is 95 percent-plus of the American population that earns less than $250,000 would see the following tax breaks: A $500-per-worker tax credit for people who earn less than $150,000 and do not itemize, and a $4,000 credit per child in college. Seniors who earn less than $50,000 would pay no income tax. The rich would pay more under Barack Obama's tax plan, and the poor and middle-class would pay less, a nonpartisan analysis finds. Under John McCain's plan, the rich would pay much less than they do now, the poor and middle-class would pay a bit less, and the federal deficit would grow, the study found. Each individual's tax situation is different, so it's hard to say for sure how much more or less you would pay under the presidential candidates' ever-evolving tax proposals. Currently, the top income tax rate is 35 percent. Under Obama, that would go back up to 39 percent. Ewww... big increase there. LOL You are quite possible the ONLY person that has ever said that about the Clinton era. I've never heard anyone say that before. Even my republican friends loved that era. My RICH republican friends. I'm sorry you had it rough in that times... but you seem to be that of about 2% that would say what you say about that time in our country. I'm very happy with what Obama has proposed. And when I hit the 250k mark, hopefully in the next two years, I'll be ecstatic to pay a higher tax and help our country get this damn deficit under control. But that's just me I guess.
  8. I never posted anything from an "anti-Palin blog" LMAO! Prove that it is? And you are using the same talking point that ONLY FauxNews is still trying to use about that Washington post article. It's been debunked. Get over it. Everyone else has moved on. Your conspiracy theories and scare tactics won't work this election my friend. You need something else. Even on FaxNews today... only as I was changing channels, LOL I saw them say that unless something happens... like an "event" that Johnny Mac is going to lose this election. Faux said that! I was shocked. LOL Any ways, feel free to post as many non-issue stories up you want. I actually find some of them amusing. Knock yourself out.
  9. I like when Hannity gets shut down. Haha! Shut down that punk!!! Or when he was chased down by angry Republicans! LMFAO!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNZS9ZuZcrg "you suck Sean!" LOL
  10. McCain misstated his own health care plan, saying he’d give a $5,000 tax credit to “every American†His plan actually would provide only $2,500 per individual, or $5,000 for couples and families. He also misstated Obama’s health care plan, claiming it would levy fines on “small businesses†that fail to provide health insurance. Actually, Obama’s plan exempts “small businesses.†http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/factchecking_debate_no_2.html
  11. Who first? LOL Hog, you are basing this whole premise off an April story in The Washington Post that said Raines has "taken calls from Barack Obama's presidential campaign seeking his advice on mortgage and housing policy matters." Reporter Anita Huslin says Raines told her that during an in-person interview. So you are basing your FACTS off of a person in the MSM? Haha! Hmmm... that's not like you. Can you confirm or cross check it like you do all your other things? You can't cause this WHOLE story is based off of one reporter. And lets just pretend it's true. How in the heck is "taken calls" equal advising his campaign pray-tell?!? This is once again nothing more then deflection IMO and means nothing EVEN if I believe it ever happen. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/09/19/_the_ad_obama_has.html Wu-Mrs.D.D., 95% of those who PAY taxes... meaning 95% of that 59% that make under 250K will not see an increase. This is not hard guys. They are only going back to the Clinton tax code... remember those days? Some of the most prospers days in our country. And finally MarauderHD... no we didn't miss his health care proposal. Sounds good. But McCain failed to mention how existing employer-sponsored health benefits would be affected. • Workers would be taxed on the value of any employer-paid health benefits, partially offsetting the $5,000 credit for those now covered by such plans. • Experts say a tax credit plan like this would likely cause companies to reduce or eliminate health benefits for their employees. Please read and know exactly what his proposal would do and what you would REALLY get... http://www.factcheck.org/mccains_5000_promise.html
  12. I never said anything about him now did I? LOL The main point I guess should be made is NO one is clean here. McCain has a top advisor that was being paid by Fannie and Fredie up to just 2 months ago. HOw do you sling mud over to the other side when you, yourself aren't clean on this? LOL It's like a crack head suing over his crack dealer for not giving him the appropriate amount.
  13. My take on the debate: I thought there was no "knock out" punch by either, which McCain needed more then anything right now. I thought Obama looked and sounded more grounded in his answers. McCain looked angry even when he smiled. McCain did some weird things that left people starching their head like the interaction with Tom, the walking around when Obama was speaking to using the term "that one" when refering to Obama. To some of your points Hog... I think Obama is pointing out that 18 Billion is nothing compared to 300 Billion that John wants to spend on tax cuts for the rich. Not one time in any of these dabtes has John said or mentioned "middle class". It's going to be hard to win an election when you can't even say the term of the poeple that will help you do that. Franlin Raines was NOT, I repeat NOT a Obama advisor. This is a lie put out by the McCain camp. Read>>> http://wire.factcheck.org/2008/09/24/obamas-connection-to-raines/ No matter who spins the tax thing, every reputable site and news source have proven that 95% of american will actually see a decrease on their taxes under Obama's plan. Check for yourself people... http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/factchecking_debate_no_2.html
  14. LOL... Obama, cool, calm, collective and confident. McCain, aggressor, "get off my grass" attitude, nervous, but confident.
  15. Really, I don't find it too laughable guy. That would be typical of your tactfulness you have shown here though. I'm sorry you don't have those comprehension skills to see how this is about the current issues right now and NOT about Johnny's Keating 5 or Obama's Ayers relation. That is sad. ONce again you put words in my mouth, I never said it was all Bush's fault. But this is his admin and the republican's HAVE been in charge for 6 of the last 8 years. It's not a random link and if you again had the comprehension skills I thought you had you'd understand that Red. Grow up man. I'm taking a break now as this thread has gotten ridiculously stupid and nothing more then mud slinging. Enjoy. *politely leaves thread*
  16. WTF are you talking about dude? I've said in many post how the dems aren't perfect and how disappointing the current congress is, of which Obama is a part of. Please with your holy then thou attitude and calling me out. Give me a break. There's not a whole lot that I disagree with Obama on, big freaking deal? Same with you and Johnny. LOL AND...? Are you going to seriously just deflect and continue on these non-issue and ignore the article I posted? This is the second shooting from an American this week who was freaking out over the economy and the 9 straight month of joblessness. And you want to talk about who Obama knew? Again, give me a break man. I'm just glad most of America is not falling for these tactics. Sad... very sad.
  17. What are those 2 links supposed to prove? You are obviously detracting from what we are trying to debate. you have not rebutted. You have only said this is a non issue. Dude, if you don't get it, then I've really under estimated your ability to comprehend. Read! Read the article and then what I posted. This has to do with the economy and the 9 month job loss under this admin!!!! Jezze, do you really not get it, or are you messing with me? LOL Slow down and read carefully man.
  18. First, prove this statement? Secondly please read carefully what I said Red... I said all these character diversions are non-issues. The economy IS the issue that we should be focused on. Period. As I posted the link up there, please re-read my other post. You think this guy gave a shit about some of these ridiculous issues people are trying desperately to bring up? I'd say, no. This is a mess and I'm getting tired of typing this over and over... even Hog agreed with me that these republicans are responsible, along with some of these dems.
  19. http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/10/06/california.murder.suicide/index.html Your circle logic is amazing. LOL You should watch throwing those stones when you live in a glass house Hog. I really don't want to make this a pissing contest of who's worse. We know both sides aren't perfect... the point is YOUR side started slinging mud cause they are down in the polls right now. Johnny, once again went back on his word. Hmmm... that went out the window now that they realize they can't win on current issues. LMFAO!!!! I think I'll stay above the fray with your assessment of my integrity and "original thought" stuff as it would just turn into another pissing contest and get us no where.
  20. Original thoughts? Yeah, you have the corner market on that. Why the Keating 5 scandal is so important now? Because it goes to the heart of what is happening now. It goes to John's judgment, or lack there of. You really want to go there with regard to F and F? Really? How about we talk about Rick Davis, campaign manager for Johnny, who was paid 15K a month by F and F to keep the regulators out! http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/24/us/politics/w24davis.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin You can't have it both ways. LOL Why would you want to throw stones in your glass house Hog? LOL Johnny's not clean by ANY means. You should stick with the real issues... these are both non-issues on both sides. The only thing right now in this country that people give a shit about... is this economy and how we are going to get back on track. Everything else is BS. Don't think it's serious? jUst read this... http://www.cnn.com/ I'd say this guy didn't give two shits if John was involved in some scandal 22 years ago... or if Obama was on the same board as some radical guy from the 60's... etc. NO, I'm pretty sure he cared about where the fuck he was going to pull himself out of this mess. Let's stick to the real issues and how we're going to solve them.
  21. No problem Hog, I have your quote also baby.
  22. Uhh, yeah. And you? LOL I proved that Obama is a citizen with links and pictures even. LOL What more do you want? I won't answer the other silliness that is trying to be brought up. Hog knows. He's a smart guy and is doing the classic old school debating as the McCain camp is. LOL Can't beat em on issues, tear down his character. Question the man. It's classic politics and I want nothing about it. Believe me I can go into a whole diatribe about how Ayers was never convicted of anything, is a Professor at ILL state university, a respected lawyer in his community. LOL But you won't want to hear any of that. You just want to paint Obama as hanging out with terrorist... blah, blah, blah. Let's everyone take a step back from our computers, take a deep breath, watch the debate tomorrow then come back and try and get along.
  23. Red, You are seriously wrong on your numbers. You can say Kerry was destroyed all you want. Bush did win that election at least... but dude, you have a weird definition of "destroyed"... LOL It came down to ONE state my friend. If Kerry carried Ohio, he would have won. How on earth is that "destroyed"? That's like saying that Jacksonville was "destroyed" by Pittsburgh this weekend. LOL Yeah, Hog I think you are correct. McCain's only hope is to really try and paint Obama as being part of blame along with Dems for the economic crisis. He has an up hill battle right now. Obama has a chance to put this away tomorrow night. Not sure if he can though. It will be close no matter what going into Nov.
  24. Beat down? LMAO! You have no more ammo now and can only character assassinate Obama. You want to move away from the real issues like the McCain campaign does, cause they are losing with it right now. There's no "beat down", I'm just not going to dignify those "stories" with a response. They don't deserve one. Try again. ;D
  25. LOL destroyed? You're kidding, right? It came down to ONE state. Ohio. No one got "destroyed". Also, both Kerry and Gore did NOT have the lead that Obama has right now. So, no, he didn't. Kerry had a slight advantage, like 3 or 4 points. Obama is pushing the 50 mark which, it is said if he holds 48% or over going into the last week, McCain will be done. Please know that polls are ONLY snapshots in time. They really don't mean a lot until the final days. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy right now with what I see... but they are only snapshots in time. 3 weeks is a lifetime in politics. Any thing can happen.
