Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo A single-seater concept that pushes the boundaries of the hyper car genre. The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo is the first Ferrari single-seater concept car dedicated to the world of virtual motor sport, with a spectacular and futuristic design founded in the Prancing Horse’s unequalled racing heritage. The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo draws its inspiration from the fascinating world of Ferrari’s hugely successful 1960s and ‘70s sports-prototypes. Below hyper-modern bodywork and dramatic proportions, the car hides the DNA of masterpieces such as the Ferrari 330 P3 and the 512 S. It is a nod to the past, yet a powerful hint of the future of endurance racing. The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo’s architecture is crafted around an advanced aerodynamic design and is equipped with the same engine architecture that powers the Ferrari 499P. Here, though, the engine has been made more extreme to develop no less than 1,030 CV (1,015.8 BHP) at 9,000 rpm, with an additional 240 kW (321.5 BHP) available through three electric motors, one on the rear axle and one on each of the front wheels. Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm ’20 The peak of the Giulia line-up, this model celebrates 110 years of Alfa Romeo. The Giulia GTA and GTAm are special editions of the Giulia released to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the founding of Alfa Romeo in 2020. Based on the high-performance Quadrifoglio model, performance has been increased even further for these anniversary editions. The power output of the 2.9L V6 twin-turbo engine has been increased to 532 BHP. Use of lightweight construction materials throughout the car has decreased the weight by 100 kg and the front and rear track width has been increased by 50 mm to shorten the effective wheelbase, all resulting in a significant improvement to handling. Additionally, the car features enlarged front fenders and arching over fenders on the rear, as well as several aerodynamic parts developed in conjunction with Alfa Romeo’s F1 partner Sauber. The GTAm offers a more hardcore setup designed for circuit use. It adds a larger front splitter and carbon fiber rear wing, while replacing the rear seats with a roll-cage. Bugatti Chiron ’16 The successor to the ultra-high performance Veyron. The Chiron is a super sports car unveiled by Bugatti in 2016. This limited production model was introduced as a follow-up to the Veyron, with only 500 units available worldwide. The exterior features large C-shaped lines that encircle the cabin and serve as air intakes. It also features an accentuated center-line inspired by the Type 57 Atlantic Coupe that increases straight line stability. The carbon fiber chassis provides the same level of rigidity as an LMP1 race car and houses an 8L W16 quad-turbo engine. This engine has been extensively tuned since the Veyron iteration to a maximum power output of 1,479.3 BHP and a maximum torque rating of 163.1 kgfm. The car is able to accelerate from 0-62.1 mph in 2.5s and a pre-production prototype was able to reach a maximum speed of 304.8 mph. In 2018, the Chiron Sport was introduced featuring an improved chassis weighing 18 kg less than the original. In 2019, the limited edition ‘Chiron Sport 110 Ans Bugatti’ was released to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Bugatti. Only 20 of these cars were made. Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray ’20 The new generation midship Corvette. The byword for the all-American sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette saw a historic change in 2019. Introduced that year, the eight generation Corvette became the very first in the line to use a midship layout. This revolutionary change is apparent from a single look at the exterior. The Chevrolet’s iconic long nose is nowhere to be seen, and with the cabin moved forward, the body fits the classic midship profile. Without an engine, the front section now serves as luggage space, meanwhile behind the engine sits another luggage area big enough for a golf bag. The V8 engine at the heart of the car is a new generation small block LT2 which was developed from the previous generation model C7’s LT1 engine. With 6.2L of displacement, it can produce 495.1 BHP/65.0 kgfm but also features fuel saving features like cylinder deactivation. The transmission is now only available as an 8- speed dual-clutch automatic but manual control is also possible using steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The suspension uses double wishbone construction on all 4 corners and is available with a height adjustment system for handling high kerbs and other obstacles. The driver centered cockpit features a multifunctional infotainment system controlled by an 8-inch touchscreen. With the engine bay moved to the rear of the cabin, the new generation Corvette has shown itself to be a contender with exceptional performance in GT car racing. Toyota Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car (ST205) ’95 The rally machine that left an impression on many fans, though it only competed for a short time. After capturing the double title of both driver and maker championships thanks to the ST185’s brilliant showing in 1993, Toyota introduced the new ST205 Celica the following year, aiming to achieve even more victories. Although the new Celica had a bigger body, it had better weight distribution due to the enhanced stability from the expanded wheelbase and wheel track. Works team TTE was involved from the start of development, and key contributions were the improvement of overall aerodynamic and cooling performance. The Celica was planned to debut in the 1994 1000 Lakes Rally, but due to unexpected delays in undercarriage development it spent the season running trial races. Entering in 1995 as a full-scale participant, the Celica battled with the newly improved Subaru Impreza, and Didier Auriol brought in the first win in the 4th round at the Tour de Corse. Although Toyota continued to be afflicted by problems with the super strut suspension, the team continued racing and making improvements throughout the season to overcome the handicap. In the 7th round at Catalonia, the Celica was found to be in violation of the intake restrictor diameter regulation and was stripped of all points for the season. In opposition to the decision Toyota ceased participation in the WRC and the ST205’s appearance on the gala stage of the event was limited to just one season. Although it was only active for a short time, these machines gallant silhouette imprinted itself on the hearts of many fans. Play Video In this blog post, I’ll walk you through the latest information regarding the recently announced online gameplay features and additional bonuses included in Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. Before that, allow me to introduce the Mega Man Battle Network series. The Mega Man Battle Network series takes place in Network Society, where advanced network technology connects and powers everything from household devices to the infrastructure of cities. This system is typically referred to as “the Cyberworld” and has become a part of everyday life for the citizens of Network Society. People carry Personal Terminals, or PETs – mobile devices equipped with sentient programs called NetNavis. PETs and NetNavis allow people to enjoy the many benefits the network provides by “jacking in,” a process of connecting their PET to various devices. Although advanced network technology has improved everyday life for many people around the world, it has also brought with it new opportunities for cybercrime. The protagonist, Lan Hikari, and his NetNavi, MegaMan.EXE, must work together to solve a recent wave of cybercrime incidents. Battles ensue when you encounter sentient viruses in the Cyberworld. The player can move MegaMan.EXE freely within the red 3×3 grid while enemies move around in and attack from the blue area. MegaMan.EXE can use Battle Chips to his advantage when facing enemy programs as well! Battle Chips have several uses, including recovering HP, inflicting damage on enemies in unique ways, and much more. Jack in to the action of Battle Network and strategize when and how to use the diverse Battle Chips that are available to you. The Battle Network Legacy Collection contains 10 classic games, including the different versions of the mainline games in the series, from Mega Man Battle Network to Mega Man Battle Network 6. Now, let’s get into the new online functions! Players can enjoy head-to-head NetBattling and Battle Chip Trading with far-away NetBattlers by connecting to the Internet. You can access online functionalities through in-game submenus in each game. From the NetBattle menu, you can choose either “Practice” to enjoy battles casually, or “Real Thing” battles where the winner takes a Battle Chip from the loser’s backpack. You can also choose “Triple Battle” where games are decided in a best of three matches, “Version Battle” which preserves the rules from the original games, and more. “Private Match” allows you to play with far-away friends by entering a room code. In “Public Match” you can also play ranked matches with far-away NetBattlers. In the “Trade” menu, you can exchange Battle Chips, Styles, Programs, and Folders based on the original versions of each game. You can choose Private Trade to trade with your friends, or Public Trade, which will allow you to trade with NetBattlers from all over the world. *PlayStation Plus subscription is required to use online functions. Let’s not forget the Download Chips! Download Chips are special Battle Chips that were originally distributed in very specific ways such as in-person events held in Japan. At CD Projekt Red, we’ve long said that the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will harness the full capabilities of next-gen hardware. But what does that mean for the PlayStation 5? Let’s break down some of the features gamers can expect to see when the update comes out on December 14th. There’s nowhere better to start than with the unique haptics available on the PlayStation 5! Engineering Director for Management and Audio Colin Walder wanted to ensure that the DualSense Controller’s capabilities were used to their full potential. According to Walder, “One way we were able to do that is by transforming specific elements of our audio into detailed shapes and textures of vibration that are perfectly synchronized with action in the game.” In practice, this meant combing through the game for relevant actions — not only those of Geralt, but the wider world as well to make sure players receive tactile feedback during their next journey through the Continent. Now, going underwater, picking herbs, winning (or losing!) a game of cards, and mounting a horse (to name a few) will all feel more realistic than ever. “The developers approached this task in a way that would give the player a visceral connection to not only Geralt, but also throughout the wider Witcher world using the fantastic DualSense 5 technology,” Walder said. “Feeling every swing and strike, every casted Sign, and the earth under your boots is a real joy and coupling this with new immersive 3D Audio creates those added layers of immersion in ways we were never able to integrate before.” For those encountering the game for the first time, we’ve got something for you! Or, well — if it’s been a while since you last booted up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, you might find this handy, too. Players can now make use of PlayStation 5’s Game Help to view quest hints! Release Manager Artur Kepen, who worked closely with Sony to create the system, promised, “PlayStation Game Help will provide useful tips and tricks to both new and existing players! Should you get lost on your adventure, you’ll often find a video showcasing what has to be done to complete a quest or a screenshot of the area to properly mark your quest objective.” The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt features a sprawling open world, and this is one additional way of keeping track of where to go next. Don’t forget about Activity Cards! Tracking your game’s progress has never been easier with the help of this handy PlayStation 5 feature. Jump straight back into the game with minimal loading times, and keep track of your journey as you and Geralt make your way through the Continent in search of Ciri. Of course, bringing the game up to the standards of contemporary gamers also means introducing two new modes: Performance and Ray Tracing. Performance Mode prioritizes frame rate at 60FPS, while Ray Tracing aims for 30FPS and includes Ray Traced Global Illumination, enabling more realistic lighting, as well as Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion, enabling more accurate and effective surface lighting. To further bolster these graphic improvements, you can expect a host of fully-integrated community-made mods including 4K textures and models, immersion enhancements, and visual bug fixes. Hello everyone, I am Matthieu Richez, CEO and Creative Director of Ishtar Games. I am extremely pleased to announce The Last Spell, our tactical roguelite game, will be available on PS5 and PS4 in early 2023! But first, allow me to introduce you to the world of this dark, painful and gritty game we created… A few years back, The Last Spell was just an idea I had in my head, which I gave to Jacques Dedeken, the Art Director: an asymmetrical tactical game with a few heroes fighting off hundreds of monsters. This resulted in this first ever concept art of the game: Now in 2022 the game has been polished a lot, especially during our Early Access which started in 2021. With this amount of time, care and help of our players, we have been able to bring the best game to every user, with more maps, more ideas and more possibilities. Tactical & roguelite The Last Spell didn’t change much from the original idea given to Jacques: you have to defend your Haven with your Heroes against a lot of monsters. At day, you can patch up your Heroes, buy weapons and create buildings, but at Night, you will have to fight. Each map has a different number of Nights and your only goal is to stay alive as long as you can. The longer your Heroes live and fight, the more you unlock new weapons, armors, passives and bonuses for your next run. During the Night, we want you to feel overwhelmed by the monsters, to live on the edge at each moment of your run. This feeling is increased by the work of our Composer, Rémi Gallego (The Algorithm), who made an incredible metal soundtrack for The Last Spell. The Last Spell being a tactical, each Hero has their own action points, movement and mana, which means you need to be careful with each move you aim to do. One mistake, and your Hero may be in immediate danger of death… And this is speaking from experience. We took a lot of time to design the control scheme for The Last Spell because we’ve tried to find the best way possible to play the game with a PlayStation controller. For example, we’ve designed a system to help you navigate quickly in the interface by using the Right Stick. We also made sure the combat phase can be played quickly and smoothly. Another important point for us was to have a dedicated button to display tooltips, because it’s our main way to give players information about something. One Last Spell to save the world The world of The Last Spell is a hard and painful one. The magical war destroyed everything and only a few Havens are still standing up among the ruins. As if it wasn’t enough, a dangerous Mist arises every Night, bringing dreadful monsters to your walls. Hopefully, you’ve got a way to save the world. Or well, humanity has one: casting The Last Spell, a powerful incantation to banish all magic in the world, destroying the Mist and the monsters in the process. To do so, each remaining Haven needs to break their Seal, and the Heroes’ only goal is to protect the Mages at all cost. Failure to do so will lead to their doom and defeat, which can also be translated by “you’ll have to start a new run”. More tools to help you fight Defending each Haven is tough but you have multiple tools at your disposal to succeed, one Night after the other. The biggest of them all being mysterious beings of Light and Darkness.. Thanks to them, your fights during the Nights grant you access to unique Favors: some can be bought with Tainted Essences, others can be unlocked through a series of completion. Each fight you win gives you an advantage for the future: you start small, and as you unlock more and more tools, the fight becomes easier… Until you reach a new deadly challenge. By killing monsters, your Heroes can level up to improve their attributes and learn new passive or active Perks. The pool of Perks available to your Heroes is randomized so each Hero has a different set of Perks they can possibly unlock. All Heroes in The Last Spell are classless, so their skills will change according to the weapons you give them. You can try absolutely everything with your Heroes, and adapt your strategies.
