1. On the last day of Comic-Con, we were fortunate enough to have a PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale panel for the fans! Moderated by the one and only Greg Miller, the panel started with SuperBot's very own Chan Park and Omar Kendall explaining the studio's beginnings and its affinity towards the PlayStation universe and the fighting game genre. They then fielded questions from an eager audience, detailing various tidbits regarding the game including DLC plans, roster creation, stage hazards, level mash-ups, and game modes. The crowd was also presented with several videos to showcase the game, including trailers featuring our newest additions Cole MacGrath and Jak and Daxter. These reveals were met with overwhelming enthusiasm, which is great because we have plenty more where that came from! More...
2. Dyad is available today on PSN for $14.99 and $11.99 with a PlayStation Plus subscription. I'm really excited by all the positive reviews that Dyad's receiving. It currently has a Metacritic score of 87. It's been a crazy amount of hard work to finish it and bring it to you on the PlayStation 3. It's out today and I am extremely proud of it -- thanks for all the love and support! When Tim Rogers, director of Action Button Entertainment, first played Dyad he literally died. When he resurrected he demanded to be allowed to direct and co-star in his own Dyad advertisement with Vito Gesualdi. I hope you find their take on Dyad as hilarious as I do. More...

6. Hey everyone! I'm Ben, a Game Designer at Giant Sparrow. Last Saturday, a bunch of us took a trip down to San Diego for Comic-Con, where we held a panel that focused on the art of The Unfinished Swan. We want to thank everyone who attended -- you’re all beautiful people. If you couldn’t make it to the panel, we’ve put together this highlight reel so you can watch all the good parts! The panel was hosted by Morgan Webb, who made sure things went super smooth as we discussed the ups and downs of developing such a unique game. On stage we had Ian Dallas, Hokyo Lim, Max Geiger, and me. We showed off some never-before-seen concept art, and talked about how we developed the art style for The Unfinished Swan. More...
7. Earlier this month, we delivered a big update to your PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection with the addition of great games like Gotham City Impostors, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, and Renegade Ops. These three games continue to be free for Plus members, in addition to nine more free AAA games, like LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, and Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One. That’s not all for this month, though! To round out July (and even getting a bit into August), we’ve got even more goodness for Plus members! Dyad – 20% Off: Dyad is an abstract game that is influenced by many genres, including racing games, fighting games, puzzle games and classic arcade shooters. 8. Let’s start the week with another community spotlight. This time, we’re tipping our collective hats to the cool guys who run the Sackinima YouTube Channel. Sackinima features an impressive collection of videos including machinima and community-level videos. With special permission, they even released some amazing gameplay videos from the recent LittleBigPlanet Vita beta, which showcased some of the amazing talent seen in the beta. These guys have been producing great videos for so long and for that reason, we will be bestowing a Rare Prize Crown to each of them. Congratulations guys! Keep up with the great videos! More...

10. As promised two new playable characters for Playstation All-Stars were released today at Comic-Con. Before, SuperBot stated that the original line-up was going to be ten, with the last two being announced at EVO, Toro and Heihachi. The two new characters are Cole McGrath from inFAMOUS and Jak, with Daxter by his side of course. I mean you can’t have JAK without Daxter! Here are the details released via the Playstation Blog: Jak & Daxter: Players familiar with Jak and Daxter’s arsenal will immediately recognize some of the weaponry utilized in PlayStation All-Stars including the Blaster, Needle Lazer, Gyro Burster, and Mass Inverter. When the going gets tough, Jak has the ability to unleash the powers of both Dark and Light Jak to even the playing field, as seen in Jak II and Jak 3 respectively. Daxter even lends a hand in Jak’s melee attacks. Cole McGrath: Cole takes advantage of a wide array of abilities in inFAMOUS, an experience we hoped to emulate when incorporating him into the game. He is a well-rounded fighter who is effective at both close and long range combat, and is highly mobile as well. Players can command both his electrokinesis and cryokinesis, using these powers to assault opponents from a safe distance or propel himself towards the action. With these abilities, Cole proves to be a formidable adversary for the rest of the PlayStation All-Stars cast! There are still many characters I’d like to see anounced, even more now that there will be third party characters in the game. We will see as more info is released in the upcoing weeks. 12. Today at Comic-Con, the SuperBot team led a lively discussion panel that gave attendees a sneak peek at the development of PlayStation All-Stars. Alongside our very own Chan Park and Omar Kendall, IGN.com’s Greg Miller joined us as a moderator to explore how the team created our super roster of PlayStation characters and environments for the ultimate cross-over brawler. In addition, they discussed alternate costume decisions, some of the different game modes available, and the concept of the “mash-up.†But of course the highlight of the panel was unveiling two new, highly anticipated additions to the roster. We are pleased to announce the inclusion of Jak and Daxter and Cole MacGrath in PlayStation All-Stars! More...
13. In a few hours, San Diego Comic-Con International 2012 will draw to a close - but not before we have one final announcement. At 11am today, Superbot Interactive will take the stage for a panel where they'll reveal the next two combatants to join the ranks of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. We'll carry the news here, along with video reveals (much like we did at EVO last week). And for those of you unable to attend Comic-Con in person (it was another sell out again this year), we're crafting highlight reals of our four panels so you can see the highlights. Look for the last of those to be ready tomorrow (Beyond: Two Souls is ready now). More...
14. I didn't make it down to San Diego Comic-Con this year and, speaking frankly, I'm okay with that. It's a bummer to miss out on the panels for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and The Unfinished Swan (plus The Last of Us and BEYOND: Two Souls from Friday), but the downtime will give me a chance to catch up on my ever-growing Pile of Shame -- starting with Spec Ops: The Line and progressing to Batman: Arkham City. Maybe even (gasp!) Journey...if I can manage to put down the uber-addicting Theatre of Magic table for The Pinball Arcade. What are you playing this weekend? Are you watching any Comic-Con panels? Be sure to share in the comments. More...
15. Thanks for checking out this week’s PSN Community Spotlight. This is your chance to share your story on the PlayStation Community Forums, while snagging a $50 PlayStation Store voucher if your post is selected. This week’s story comes from PSN member jackwesten. His story shows that sometimes, you have to take a step back and be thankful for the things you have. In his moments of adversity, he was able to turn to PlayStation to help his friend JT. To understand the significance of my story I first must begin by saying that I have been playing video games for most of my life. Video games have been one of the things that helped me relate to my friends. Whether we were talking about Pokémon in elementary school or discussing Metal Gear Solid as time went on. More...
16. While we’re still processing the awesome and inspiring reception from fans and critics at E3, we’ve been heads down working to make The Last of Us something to get really, really hyped about. To that end, we’re excited that our San Diego Comic-Con plans afforded us the opportunity to discuss our mocap process and share some new content. It was really just a small glimpse into what we’ve been hard at work developing but we think you’ll enjoy it greatly. Take a look: More...

18. Greetings! Yesterday was my first time at San Diego Comic-Con and I was amazed at the people I saw! What costumes! It's great to see so many people embracing their passion. After such an amazing E3, I was lucky enough to come here to speak to some incredible supporters of the game in a panel hosted by IGN's Greg Miller. Joining me was the lovely and talented Ellen Page, who we are very lucky to have playing BEYOND's main character, Jodie Holmes. We had a great discussion about how we are combining the latest in performance capture technology and amazing acting talent in the hopes of creating a truly unique and emotional experience for all of you to enjoy. We were also happy to reveal additional talented cast members, Kadeem Hardison and Eric Winter, experienced actors who you may have seen both on TV and film. 20. During EVO 2012, I got a rare opportunity to chat with Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat and creative director for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Though NetherRealm Studios’ latest title wasn’t playable at the show, Boon walked me through his vision for the DC-themed fighter, his overall plans for NetherRealm Studios, and some key changes he’s bringing to the fighting game formula.
PlayStation.Blog: It strikes me that Superman looks awfully aggressive in Injustice. 21. San Diego Comic-Con doesn’t want for distractions – famous graphic novelists greet their fans, uber-limited edition collectables line sprawling tables, and cosplayers roam the halls by the thousands. When I learned that Capcom would be showing Okami HD at their booth, all of those attractions quickly dropped in importance; I knew where my Comic-Con would kick off. Mere seconds after the doors of the San Diego Convention Center opened for business, Capcom’s Tristan Corbett handed me a PlayStation Move motion controller and I beheld Japanese sun goddess-turned-canine Amaterasu in full HD glory for the first time. Malicious, a new, original action game for PS3 from Japanese studio Alvion, is coming to PSN July 24th. That's in less than two weeks! In Malicious, you’ll take control of a “Spirit Vessel†awakened by prophets to defeat Holders, evil giants bent on destroying The Kingdom. You’re armed with the Mantle of Cinders, a magical artifact that takes the form of weapons or a shield. Rather than crawling through lengthy dungeons to find and defeat enemies, this game gives you the power to select whichever stage you want and jump directly into epic boss battles in whatever order you please. It's been about two months since Awesomenauts launched on PlayStation Network, and we're thrilled to see that the community has grown to be so active and vibrant. Teaming up with Sony to make Awesomenauts part of May's PlayStation Plus offer has really helped to get our multiplayer platforming-shooter off to a running start. And now, we're almost ready to launch the first big update for our game! In this update, we’ve addressed two key concerns that we’ve heard from the community: balance and content. After two months of solid playing, we can confirm that the balance in the original version is pretty good, but not perfect. More...
