NON PS2 Headset?

anyone using one? I keep having to buy used ones@ EB/Gamestop that typically crap out in a month or three, and they are getting hader and harder to find. I dont want to order the one off Ebay, and have to wait 1 week + for it to get here, Just want to run to BB or OfficeDepot and pick one up/exchange it if there are any problems.

theres a headset for the ps3 that will work on the ps2 and its only$14.99 new its a silver one and its called ps3 headset communicator. :o

im using a mad-cats headset and its been tossed around and sat on and step on and its still kicking. but i cant find anymore of them around me.

logitech USB computer headsets work just fine as well, and they last longer.

As long as it's made by Logitech and USB you are fine. PS2 games will only work with Logitech headsets, great marketing move.

tried F.S. B.B. Wallmart zellers ebgames gamestop staples toys r us canuck tire nothing no one even has heard of it nor a wired ps3 mic

 

Tried using the Logitech premium laptop mic (comes w/ pink/green connectors and a USB adapter) that didnt work either.

 

Goin back home today so I'll look for one there

the one by datel that is pictured here sux. sound is crappy cable is only 5 feet long at most. people can barely hear you. i would sugest looking for something else.

ya the problem is they have the motorola one @ BB, but ONLY FOR THE 360

had to jump the border to find one

I tried that SAME mic on the PS2, and it would regiester that there was a headset, but i couldnt hear/ppl couldnt hear me
