o-BacklasH-o Posted January 29, 2010 Author Report Posted January 29, 2010 I wouldn't even say the biggest concern on that hit was the timing but the fact that Favre was picked up off the ground and slammed. Frankly I think the refs cost the Vikings the game in overtime but that is over with now. I hope the Saints pull out the miracle upset in Miami. This is what I was getting at. Refs blew a lot of calls (including the pass interference call that sealed FG range...). NFL VP of officiating stated the Favre high/low hit should have been a 15 yarder which would have put the Vikes in the RZ. Check out the article. It's just really upsetting that the better team is sitting home because of poor officiating (and I'm a DIEHARD Bears fan saying this). The Vikings cost themselves chances, but they could have overcame the mistakes if so many crucial calls didn't go against them. Oh well, Peyton and the Colts are going to end the "feel good" story of the Saints. Although I thought 2006 was supposed to be the feel good story when the Bears KOed em in the NFC title game. Sorry Hippie. Here's the article: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4868880 Quote
