Question. I bought 300 on blue Ray just because I couldn't stand not having one yet. I had my PS3 hooked up to my girls 42" LG Plasma TV (720p). When the movie was playing it was choppy. I know that Blue Ray is for 1080p but I though you could play it on a 720p. Is there something I need to change on my PS3? When I set it up I did the auto config and it said modes 480, 720p and 1080i.

I played mine on 720p and 1080i and it went fine, Same movie. Im not sure what would be causing your to be choppy unless your lens is dirty or your TV has a difficult time w/ the color configuration or filters you hae turned on.
