Black ops LAN games

I mentioned this in another post, but just in case.

I have found a way to play black ops online with other people thru the LAN settings.

There's a 3rd party software that connects your ps3 thru your pc and router.

I have been playing the last couple of nights and if anyone wants to join me til the network gets fixed, come on down.

 

It was slightly confusing at first but I'm not computer savvy and I figured it out.

If anyone needs help, I will try to the best of my ability.

Any game with a LAN option in it. MW, MW2, WAW,Black Ops, Rainbow6, Homefront, Portal2 etc.

How does this work. Does it go backward through your router or do you have to connect your PS3 to your computer? Seems weird to me.

Some people claim they are doing it wireless thru their router. I just have an ethernet from my router to my ps3 and from the router to the pc. The software does the work. The nice thing about it is that it actually gives you a lobby system for COD. You can create yor own room and password it and have mod rights to allow people or kick them. It's actually better than the normal public rooms.

Every thing I have is hard wired . So are you saying it will work for me? I dont want to waste my time trying something that may not work. But at the same time I want to play with sum real people.
