My 02 sentra shut down today but I got it to work again. I have a question about low coolant level shuting of my fuel pump relay. Does this happen and is that what fixed my car? It was really low on coolant. I also cleared the codes it threw up once I got it running again. Experts please chime in.

not real familiar with nissans that old, but i do know that many newer model vehicles will kill the fuel pump if the oil gets too low, the coolant gets too low, or if any sensor reads a critical number - temp, pressure, etc. - so i wouldnt doubt that this could have been your problem

ok thanks PUDDY. thats what I was thinking. By the way I was already pulled over when a sherrif pulled me over. LOL. He never asked for my liscences or anything. He just wanted me off the road.

Whenever your vehicle temperature get's too high (most likely from low coolant) your vehicle will automatically shut down. or sometimes will just stall from being too hot. either way same result. lol

I am asking about the smart technology in newer"or old older since I got old" cars. That's why I posted for A pro on modern cars..
