Need PS3 Account help....

....and of course, all PS3 operators are out for the night.

 

When my 60G crashed on me, I exchanged it for a 40G.

 

When I set up my 40G, I set up an account on there, but do NOT believe I was able to set up a MASTER account. It was a standard or sub one.

Now, it's not allowing me to sign onto the old MASTER account because it was done on the old system. This is a problem when wanting to throw some money into the PSN "wallet" to buy the new CoD4 maps.

 

SO...I created a new MASTER account on my 40G. The name o-UNDERTOW-o, of which I play under, is NOT a sub-account of this new MASTER account on the 40G.

 

My question is.....can I BUY the new CoD4 maps under the NEW MASTER account I set up with the funds I've now transferred into the wallet, and PLAY these new maps back under my o-UNDERTOW-o name? Or does my o-UNDERTOW-o name need to be a specific SUB account under the specific NEW MASTER account?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't eaten dinner yet because of this hassle...and I'm getting crabby.

I think they are all online playing the new map packs.......and I'm about to get on and play myself, sorry bud....lol! I'm staging a coup d'etat and taking over APC!

 

I have no idea about the master and sub-accounts, just try it and see what happens, it's only $10....lol! Later! Goota go play those sweet ass maps!

I have two master accounts on my 60gig PS3 and I use one for game play Daddy-Anthony and the other for my downloadable stuff. And I got alot of map packs from warhack and it works fine. My COD4 map pack work fine also. Love the new maps.. But get ready for the camp fest, LOL..

You can download onto any ps3 just log onto the account that has the download and download whatever you want onto it. I got lots of the guitar hero addons that way even though I don't have guitar hero lol.
