Irish since you have two slots, i would get two 1gb sticks to give you a total of 2gb of RAM.

just need to double check what you have in there, or get a make/model number of the motherboard.

 

Thanks Chili, and I think your right. When I did the scan it said I did not have any empty slot available. So I'm guessing I only have 2 slot that I need to replace. Now, when I replace these cards, do I have to install any program or anything like that??

 

Also, when I get 2gb total, will I be able to play games online then? Because it does not appear so now.

NO.. i doubt it.

I'm guessing your problem with PC gaming would be a graphics card. (not positive, but that would be my guess)

 

Get with Shane, tell him everything you know about your computer, & have him work his magic, he'll tell you exactly what you have & what you need. (or just post it here for him)

You don't have to install any software to upgrade the ram. The processor should pick it up automatically. Like Chili said, if you post your computer model, we could give you exact information.
